To wonder where the hell he is?

Been seeing someone for a couple of months, at least twice a week but it’s been nearly every day over the past couple of weeks. He has been really into me, cooked for me, taken me away numerous times and said the l word very early on.

We had plans to go to his friends birthday tonight, spoke to him earlier and everything was fine. Text later to let him know what time I would be over, not read and no reply, we are now 2 and a half hours after we were supposed to meet and I haven’t heard from him since 3.30pm. No messages read, no answer to my calls. Getting a bit concerned, where could he be?!

Think the suggestions to call police / hospitals / his mum are bordering on nuts at this stage. There are plenty of potentially reasonable explanations for him going awol for an evening. If he's still not contactable tomorrow afternoon maybe start to worry then.

Hope it’s just that he’s catching a few Z’s totally oblivious to the panic he’s causing you and not the other suggestions others have given. If he’s still awol tomorrow afternoon (technically this afternoon but I’ve not slept yet!) I’d definitely speak to his friends again and tell them I was going to contact his mum if he didn’t turn up. That way it’ll force his hand if they’re covering for him, and if not then I think I’d want to know if my son was missing for 24 hours.

Please update us when you find out.

We dont know anything about their relationship and it’s a little ridiculous to jump to the conclusion that he’s a cheating arsehole or ghosting her. I don’t think either of those things adds up from what she’s said.
