Indeed Saltire

BoneyBackJefferson · 13/04/2018 19:24

People have gone on about the EDF but it will be interesting to see just who turns up to to HV's march and just what they do with it.

Jannilost · 13/04/2018 19:28

Well I can sense a lot of violence on Sunday, and any scun that march supporting HV deserve whatever happens to them.

Aeroflotgirl · 13/04/2018 19:31

Bloody hell, a neighbour did not offer any garden fence, they were too bloody scared of reprisals.

Aeroflotgirl · 13/04/2018 19:38

What are these low life's going to protest about on Sunday, their civil rights to break and enter somebodies property and rob and threaten them. Right I've heard it all now, hope the Police put a stop to this.

agedknees · 13/04/2018 19:54

Saltire has it in one. Don’t invade other people’s homes.

GnotherGnu · 13/04/2018 20:03

G pistorias was tried and convicted. So that’s the law acting sensibly and proportionately in my view.

mydog, please try to concentrate. My reference to the Pistorius case was in response to your suggestion that, amongst other matters, the scenario of an attempt to disguise a murder as self defence was utterly ridiculous and would never happen. As you now seem to be acknowledging, clearly it's not that far-fetched. Nothing to do with how the law responded to it.

GnotherGnu · 13/04/2018 20:06

Actually I can’t be arsed read my posts and see I never ever advocated disproportionate force.

Sorry, meant to include this in the last post as it is another result of mydog not paying attention to what she is reading. I did not say you had advocated disproportionate force. This issue was raised initially in response to a post by stitchglitched but you chose to make an issue of that response.

GnotherGnu · 13/04/2018 20:10

I just don't believe the bleeding heart liberals who state that you have to think things through carefully.

Has anyone actually stated this? I haven't seen it on this or the previous thread. I think everyone accepts the law of self defence which has been in force for several decades and which fully recognises that in the stress of the moment when a person has to defend themselves, they obviously won't have the time to think things through carefully and probably won't be capable of doing so when terrified anyway. That's why it's accepted that the response doesn't have to be directly proportionate to the threat, so long as it is not grossly disproportionate.

PeanutButterCheesecake · 13/04/2018 20:27

The family are barely even people, they don't have the conscience or morals of humans so shouldn't be considered as such. So no sympathy.

His kids are better off without him. No-one deserves a parent that awful. Poor things, too brainwashed by evil to understand decency and consideration.

His death has saved goodness knows how many old people from him. If you are so awful that people need to be saved from you, you are hardly a great loss to the world.

Get rid of the flowers. He's better forgotten.

Aeroflotgirl · 13/04/2018 20:33

What are they going to protest about then on Sunday, the right for them to enter people's homes, to rob and threaten, without fear of people defending themselves. They really are scum of the earth.

Jannilost · 13/04/2018 20:47

The whole family are scum. Anyone that marches with them are scum.

Trumpdump · 13/04/2018 22:12

The papers are saying that the old man doesn't want to return ever. Poor guy Sad

Jannilost · 13/04/2018 22:18

Very poor guy. Disgraceful.

Aeroflotgirl · 13/04/2018 22:24

Poor man, I am not surprised. I wouldent.

HelenaDove · 13/04/2018 23:30

@BrandonLewis Hi My name is Iain Gordon! I pulled down the flower Tribute for a Criminal at Hithergreen! Now I am in danger! I am told by the Police BUT they cannot protect me & I cannot take the Law into my own hands!
Why should there be any flowers for Henry Vincent?

Jannilost · 14/04/2018 00:42

Ah true colours of the family coming to light. Not that it wasn't obvious they were intimidating scum anyway.

Trumpdump · 14/04/2018 07:10

Ffs! Angry

They're going to drive passed the poor victim's house? Hasn't this neighborhood suffered enough? Sad

FreshTart · 14/04/2018 07:18

Can the police not act now in telling them that is likely to cause a breach of the police? (Sorry I don't claim to know a great deal about the law) Or even tell them the road isnt big enough to cope with such a procession if they feel they have to have sufficient reason? Enough is enough now.

FreshTart · 14/04/2018 07:18

#peace not police#

Trumpdump · 14/04/2018 07:47

I think they need to schedule some roadworks or similar...

Alpineflowers · 14/04/2018 09:05

GnotherGnu-No, they don't. There's a difference between saying "Don't take it down because it just aggravates the situation unnecessarily and is liable to cause a breach of the peace" and "Don't take it down because we want it there".

If the police don't want the shrine there, then why are they protecting it?
Here is another example of spineless policing. A police crimestopper poster in St Mary Cray (where a lot of Gypsies live).

"The Vincents drink at The Mary Rose Inn in the heart of the old village of St Mary Cray..... In the circumstances, the Crimestoppers poster displayed outside the police station almost opposite the Mary Rose Inn seemed somewhat ironic. ‘Let us help you stop criminals damaging the reputation of Gypsies & Travellers and disrespecting the community,’ the advert declared."
