We rented an Airbnb for a week somewhere nice and warm.

The description of the place banged on about how private it is and how she'd never come round and it not overlooked by anything.

The owners manual says 'please put bins out on Saturday'. That's it.

So aibu in thinking she should have fucking well mentioned the pool guys coming on a Monday?

Dh had taken ds off shopping so I was have a lovely relax on my own (for the first time since I got here) and removing some unruly minge hairs on the sun deck. I hear a chuckling and look up and there's one horrified looking pool guy and one horrified yet amused looking pool guy staring at me.

I'm fucking mortified. I hadn't heard them turn up so have no bloody idea how long they'd been there. I was wearing a sundress but no underwear and I'm hoping to God they didn't see too much.

Now I'm hiding inside on the last day of my bloody holiday hoping they bugger off quickly.

Did you just happen upon the unruly hairs or did you go outside purposely with tweezers and kitchen towel?

The fact that you were plucking your pubes is irrelevant, people shouldn't be able to randomly walk in on you when you've rented a place to stay that is supposed to be private. You have every right to complain, and leave a bad review.

I'm sorry OP, it is quite funny. I can see how missed hairs show up in the sunlight so it makes sense that you could do a more effective pluck outside (I always notice brows need doing in the car, but thankfully don't get tempted to pluck my pubes in the Supermarket car park).
Back to your post, YANBU, I sunbathe topless and would have expected privacy.

Anyway Op I can see why you thought it would be safe, but also I get that pool maintance is different to the owner checking up on you so they might not have thought to mention. WOuld have been nice if they had though!

You’re obviously not the only person judging by this thread but I don’t get why you wouldn’t. There’s nothing any dirtier about pubes than brushing your head hair outside. Rather be sitting out in the sunshine doing this than locked up in my bathroom. You were told it was private and you were not overlooked so why not. She should have warned when pool guys come, you could just as well have been skinny dipping or whatever.

nursy1 I do mine outside, the light is better. But I have a garden with 7 foot walls and it’s my garden. Doing it in someone else’s is the issue.

Have you checked the fine print of your AirBnB booking, it may say that pool maintenance is done on a Monday? if not then it should do - point that out to the owner.

Yes they should of informed you .... oversight on their part .... I am sure the pool guy has learnt to knock in future though ..., don't let it spoil the rest of your hols .... and for the others who are saying use the bathroom... get off your high horse...OP thought she had the privacy of doing this as if she was in the bathroom.
