I'd also like to know how your trans friends feel about self id. Again, you do not need to answer and you may not even know.

It might be the view of a certain group of society but certainly not the majority. My MIL was very understanding of transwomen but nearly fell off her stool when I told her about TRAs pushing for them to be allowed into female only spaces. She has plans to circulate the petition around her WI and music group.

I think that's the whole problem, - people just don't know or understand what is proposed.

I can't see how sex segregation keeps people safe anyway. It's not as if it's exactly unknown for men to attack and rob men, or likewise with women.

Most males don't want to sexually attach anyone but quite a few males do want to sexually attack women. So isn't it logical to keep males and females apart when they are getting undressed, sleeping etc. Unless they are already a family unit etc.

Plus because men and women are biologically different there is some sense of privacy when you need to go to the loo etc. get changed.
