To wonder how anyone can like olives?

I hate them.

I didn’t like them til I was 30! Love them now though.

Wildlady I like olives and hadn't got any for ages but bought some earlier because of this thread. You're encouraging olive activity :)

Capers are heavenly.
Mmm. Tinned tuna sandwiches with mayo, capers and sliced olives. Gorgeous.

It also depends on the quality of olive you eat.

Olives are ‘marmite’ food, like Guinness, chillis, twiglets & blue cheese. I love all of them.

Chocolate, cakes and biscuits, I can take or leave.

I love olives.My DD has eaten them since being a toddler,toddlers to not digest olives as they make a fairly undamaged reappearance at the other end!

They're probably my favourite food.

I hated them until my first pregnancy (and all throughout), then not long after DD was born I happened to eat something with them (a tomato pasta dish) and couldn't get enough. I went out the next day and bought more.

Depends on your tastes really, I'm hot/sour/savoury so love all that stuff

They are vile. Dp loves them.

I can eat pretty much anything, but at my brother's wedding 4 years ago I tried olives for the first time in the form of a canapé.

I spat it in to a hedge in a most undignified manner.
