I mean, what's wrong with carrying your shopping in a basket FFS?

a whole weeks shopping???

NoodleStroodle · 08/05/2007 19:48

I just put it straight in my handbag - why bother with the basket and the queues?

Skyler · 08/05/2007 19:48

Maybe they have been pushing a pushcahir for so many years, they no longer know how to stand up unaided? - that's my excuse.
Anyway, carrying a basket is bad for your back.

whomovedmychocolate · 08/05/2007 19:49

Oh yes, and those who use money rather than developing a barter type economy each time they want to buy a pint of milk.

whomovedmychocolate · 08/05/2007 19:50

What is your stance on biddy baskets on wheels?

lissielou · 08/05/2007 19:50

um, how many items can you fit into a basket?

NoodleStroodle · 08/05/2007 19:50

I like to pay for my ahopping with coupons, luncheon vouchers and stamps

HenriettaHippo · 08/05/2007 19:50

Kathy do you have biceps like Arnold Schwarzenneger? (not sure about spelling there..).

ChocolateFace · 08/05/2007 19:50

Id' be lucky to get a whole weeks shopping in one trolley.

nickytwotimes · 08/05/2007 19:51

rofl!

Skyler · 08/05/2007 19:52

Ah

ChocolateFace · 08/05/2007 19:52

And if everyone had baskets, the basket only check-out would always be busy.

whomovedmychocolate · 08/05/2007 19:52

Yes, it is lazy. The supermarkets should make their doors wide enough so I can drive my mumtruck down the aisles

LOL this is a joke right? Hmmm 4 pints of milk, bread and washing powder, why would you struggle carrying heavy things, when you can have a easy life with a trolly.

I make life as easy as possioble, being a mum is hard enough

ChocolateFace · 08/05/2007 19:55

How cool would that be? A drive in Supermarket. Please thell me they have them in the US.

powder28 · 08/05/2007 19:56

I'm lazier than all of you because I shop online. Don't even have to move away from my puter.

ChocolateFace · 08/05/2007 20:02

I shop online, but Sainsbury's dont' do bin liners for my Brabanta bin online, so then I have to go to the store to buy them
Ofcouse I then use a trolley.
