I know ianbu. Although maybe slightly U as I know these type of threads have been done to death.

Ive just been on Facebook for the first time in ages and the first two words I see are 'hot choccy'. I can't stand it.

That is all.

OP posts:
FlashTheSloth · 21/03/2018 21:11

"Oh...... I sat Dotty PS......."

That's it OP, get out!

You cannot start this thread then admit you say that!

😁

PasstheStarmix · 21/03/2018 22:47

Oh the ‘knock knock’ people at open doors always come across abit like creepers Confused

Popfan · 21/03/2018 23:00

Agreeing with previous posters 'we're pregnant' is the absolute worst.

Shodan · 21/03/2018 23:02

"Veggies" still gives me the absolute rage. XH used to say it all the fucking time : "ooh yummy veggies" and "what lovely veggies are we having?" I don't mind veg so much but veggies...Nope.

On the same theme, but nothing to do with infantilising words, is the the phrase 'All the trimmings'. I can't even articulate why I hate it so very, very much.

I once had to witness the following gripping post on Facebook as well: "Enjoying a cheeky vino with my besties as the kiddies have fun' #holibobs #fablife #makingmemories". I kid you not.

Ski40 · 21/03/2018 23:11

And what about drinkiepoos? I actually cannot believe the amount of grown women that say that. "Coming out for drinkiepoos tonight? " Eeer NO...I just want to brush my teeth now thanks. With bleach.🤢

Callamia · 21/03/2018 23:54

Oh oh, ‘vino collapso

CherryMaDeary · 22/03/2018 00:05

@RafikiIsTheBest

You makey me sad in the face

Sorry but that made laugh. Best thing I've heard all day and will now become my goto statement when someone is annoying me.

Mine too!

CherryMaDeary · 22/03/2018 00:08

Bits especially picky bits as in ‘I’ll just put some picky bits out for tea’, makes me vom.

@ThisIsTheBest

Oh yes! And 'I went to the shops to pick up some bits.'

Olinguito · 22/03/2018 00:15

Would you like some tommy k on your picky bits?

CherryMaDeary · 22/03/2018 00:17

I just imagine really thin fingers with long nails picking bits out of a lasagne.

Strokethefurrywall · 22/03/2018 00:21

aw don't do that you makey me sad in my face

Absolutely amazing! I'm definitely going to use this from now on! Grin

All the other make me want to commit murder right enough, but that one? That ones a keeper!! Star

PasstheStarmix · 22/03/2018 04:33

beargrass · 22/03/2018 05:58

"Mummy friends" = Angry

Do these women's partners have "daddy friends"? Thought not

Slitherout · 22/03/2018 06:04

Hubs and bubs on holibobs with the rest of the fam, am so blessed

#livingmybestlife

[cries in disgust]

Presumably the rest have us are slow to catch on and are currently #livingmyshittestlife? Grin

Slitherout · 22/03/2018 06:04
  • rest OF us ffs!
NoWordForFluffy · 22/03/2018 06:11

Agree with loads of these. My recently-discovered hatred is for 'lashings', used in the (apparently incorrect) Enid Blyton context of 'lashings of [insert x drink]'. It just feels so try hard to me for some reason! Equally supper (though 'sups' mentioned up-thread is infinitely worse!).

Not sure what's got into me to take against either word really! Grin

mrsb06 · 22/03/2018 06:30

I'm surprised not one has mentioned "this one," yet, i.e "spending the night with this one." Plagues my Instagram feed. Who are they? Don't they have a name? Argh!

HuskyMcClusky · 22/03/2018 06:44

"Mummy friends" = angry

Yes, quite. ‘Mummy’ anything is irritating.

I admired an acquaintance’s skirt recently and she said ‘oh yes, it’s a great mummy skirt...see? Pockets’. Hmm

I hope her DH is wearing his daddy trousers.

PinkChestnut · 22/03/2018 06:46

@CherryMaDeary ooh that image gave me the creeps

cloudchasing · 22/03/2018 06:50

Making. Cunting. Memories.

That's made me angry writing that and I'm trying to go to sleep after a night shift.

PasstheStarmix · 22/03/2018 06:55

Vom gives me the rage
