Ive just been on Facebook for the first time in ages and the first two words I see are 'hot choccy'. I can't stand it.

Along the lines of Occy Health, I slightly irrationally LOATHE 'mat leave'.

My friend, right up until marrying her now DH, so I had about FIVE YEARS of this, referred to him as "the boy". They're the same age!

MIL says "ute" for "utility". Every time she says it, I think "uterus". Gag.

I unashamedly use 'bevvies', 'out with the lasses' (NEVER girls 😝) and 'ciggies'.

I got a MN bollocking for asking wtf this Christmas Eve Boxes thing was about. Apparently in made up land there are posters who've been doing this in their families since humans learned to walk upright and had absolutely no idea it was just a modern commercial fad...

When DD was tiny we used to say 'time for your botty!' when we fed her and it was brilliant when DH said it by accident to his mate: “She has a botty about 10:30”
