This is a quote of Napoleon Bonaparte. Napoleon has a number of quotes when Read through the lens of Trump are eerily prescient. Napoleon wasn’t of the same political bent as Trump necessarily, and he was certainly more cerebral, but the lust for power is the same.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” -Margaret Mead. Parkland students, you are leading the way. And we are with you. #MarchForOurLives

I so want Sally to run for public office. She’s fantastic.

'Republicans are trying to distance themselves from the Nazi who won their party's nomination this week — but he's not the only white supremacist representing the GOP in 2018.'

I want her to be AG and continue the judicial reform that 'I don't recall' Sessions ditched. Smile

He's an unabashed Trump supporter, but this is a class act: New England Patriots team owner Robert Kraft provided the team’s official plane to fly Parkland students and families to the nation’s capital for March For Our Lives in DC.

Great speech to the students by Cory Booker ahead of the March

'Although the intelligence community had speculated that Guccifer 2.0 was Russian, until now, that fact had not been publicly confirmed. This news is significant for what it could mean to the Mueller investigation.'

cozietoesie · 24/03/2018 17:34

I wouldn't knock the 'women' thing. It may be the only way that he can - in his own eyes - leave with some dignity.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 24/03/2018 17:57

I was hoping for a Guccifer indictment yesterday.

AcrossthePond55 · 24/03/2018 17:57

You may not be so far off the mark cozie. I can easily see him using the 'women thing' to resign. Then he'll blame it on Melania by saying she threatened to leave him so it's to 'save his marriage'.

It'll either be that or a 'serious health problem' forcing him to resign. (yeah, it called ballsinavice-itis).

OuaisMaisBon · 24/03/2018 18:12

This is a Trump Tweet which has infuriated me almost more than anything else he's done, in the light of Charlottesville and so many other white supremacist attacks in his country, and the many shootings, of course:

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the horrible attack in France yesterday, and we grieve the nation’s loss. We also condemn the violent actions of the attacker and anyone who would provide him support. We are with you @EmmanuelMacron!

Have you seen the size of that crowd in Washington?

cozietoesie · 24/03/2018 18:26

A 'good man brought down by his love of women'? That would play with 45's base, Across. Wink

Emma Gonzalez names the murdered Parkland victims and observes several minutes of silence in a 6-minute, 20-second speech that covered the same time it took the gunman to kill 17 people in her high school:

"Fight for your lives before it's someone else's job."

lionheart · 24/03/2018 19:08

The stream of marchers, banners, signs and speeches is wonderful.

www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/3/23/17156968/trump-omnibus-right-wing-spending

'After President Trump signed a massive 2,323-page omnibus spending bill on Friday — one which conservative publications deemed “an embarrassment and a disgrace” and Trump had initially threatened to veto — many conservative pundits, including some of Trump’s biggest fans, were incensed.'

cozietoesie · 24/03/2018 19:46

That is actually quite dangerous. If he feels he's on the point of losing his base, what initiatives might he take.............?

lionheart · 24/03/2018 19:53

He should not be left alone with Bolton, that's for sure.

Roussette · 24/03/2018 20:35

lion and all, here is the clip of Emma Gonzales, very very moving

Totally agree OUais what a coincidence he picks up on that particular incident
