I've been thinking about the recent mini-flurry of activity around protecting Mueller from being fired.

I know it's a few months away but the biggest 'cat's away/mice play' time is the August recess. I'm thinking that they're starting proposing legislation/asking for promises now because it'll take 4 months to get things in place so that Scrotus can't direct his 'operatives' to kill the investigation/fire Mueller during the August recess when it would be next to impossible to quickly get the members of Congress back to DC.

Re Gingrich being at the WH. IDK, I don't have a good feeling about it. I'm hoping that Scrotus isn't planning to appoint Gingrich to anything. That man is a true snake.
