To ask what job you should be doing?

I should have been a high powered lawyer but was not clever enough so have been in supply chain for 15 years.

I wish I was an all the way scientist like some of my colleagues instead of a consultant applying the results of their work, but I never did a PHD.

I wanted to be a writer until a few years ago. Then I learned enough to realise that writing stories which entertain your friends does not mean you have the stuff to make a living at it.

Awww forget doctor Kit2015, I want to do that bookstore instead!

I should've been a vet but I was hopeless at Chemistry, so I work in education.

I still want to be an astronaut when I grow up. Or work at CERN. Loved science (particularly physics) at school, but the teacher didn't think much of girls doing his 'boy' subjects so I ended up dropping it and doing history instead. Still love science though. When working I mostly did educational admin - not quite the same as cruising round the planet on the International Space Station.

I should have been a voiceover artist/professional mimic.

Instead I fill shelves at Tesco and frighten my colleagues occasionally by mimicking the "There is a call at the back door. Please attend." woman who announces the deliveries. (She isn't real. She's just a doorbell.)

I should have been a penguin keeper or detective.

I should be Empress of the Universe, with power of life and death over all living things. And a big gold throne. But I dropped out of evil dictator school

Should have been a TV presenter but I'm just a frustrated teacher instead.

Self employed cleaner and gardener - should be living in a cottage, far, far away from the rest of the world and running my own farm.

I should be a black cabbie remember doing knowledge question s every night with my dad over 35 years ago nth I know my way round London like the back of my hand just don't know the names of roads can do the route in my head !!!!!!

Writer or clinical psychologist, depending on which story you want.

Instead I work in an office and struggle to find time to write.

Randomly - I'd not mind having a go at property development (Sarah Beenie and Phil & Kirsty, constant channel 4 property shows prob the reason why)

I’m a lawyer but should have been a detective. Or maybe a midwife.

Not complaining though, I like my job well enough, all things considered.

I am now a SAHP (last job was in a supermarket) but should have been a physicist....though I am working towards that by doing a physics degree via OU.

I should have been a witch. But I didn't hear from Hogwarts.

So became an investment banker.

I should've been an accountant, but I'm a vet. It ain't all James Herriot these days, folks.

I'm a trade union official. I've done all manner of odd things and loved them. But current role is so stressful I'm thinking of bailing out.

You know how I posted that I should work in LUSH? I posted that because I had an interview today, and it turns out, I do now work there as of today!!!! It might sound like an odd dream job, but since I did a masters degree in international politics I've been craving something delightfully superficial!
