I should have been a high powered lawyer but was not clever enough so have been in supply chain for 15 years.

AnyFucker · 15/03/2018 23:56

Haha. I'd just like to tazer all the bad 'uns.

MarthasGinYard · 15/03/2018 23:56

NotAllTimsWearCapes · 15/03/2018 23:57

Grin you have a taser on your superhero utility belt Wink

Glittermud · 16/03/2018 00:01

I should have been an artist /photographer but I teach English to teenagers p/t on temp contacts because I took 7 yrs out to be a SAHM and the profession is unrecognisable to me now.

AverageSnowflake · 16/03/2018 00:03

I should be a professional food critic. Alas, I am a procurement manager.

halfwitpicker · 16/03/2018 00:11

Should have been undercover for MI5 really.

That or some whizz kid neuropaediatrician or something fantastic.

Work in uni admin Confused

IWantMyHatBack · 16/03/2018 00:46

Architect

Seriously underestimated my abilities when I was younger, even thought to train when I was in my late 20s. Its too late now, I'm too old.

Regret of my life

Stompythedinosaur · 16/03/2018 00:50

I wanted to be a writer. I am a mental health nurse, which I don't hate, but I do think I probably could have done something a bit more aspirational if I had done some more work rather than focusing on having a really good time.

With hindsight I should have been a plumber or electrician.

starzig · 16/03/2018 01:36

The one I'm doing.

Faintlinesquints · 16/03/2018 01:46

I have visions of a superhero AF now Grin

I should be a biomedical scientist. Mixture of kids and injury had me falling at the final hurdles.
Would have loved to retrain as a pathologist, but would take me too many years, too much money and I'd probably be more decrepit than the corpses Wink

TamsinInBed · 16/03/2018 01:47

Photojournalist if that’s the right word. Get to travel, have your work published, be fulfilled creatively, be independent. Or that’s what I imagine! And sounds like you could do it forever and not get bored and people would think you’re amazingly cool.

Bubble04 · 16/03/2018 01:48

Anything but what I'm doing now...
Something creative

Uniglo18 · 16/03/2018 02:13

I'm a SAHM now but would have loved to been a CID officer or barrister but I'm terrible with people so that wouldn't have worked.

Raven88 · 16/03/2018 02:30

I am support worker for people with complex needs and feel like it's what I am meant to be. I did try university and I considered doing business but it didn't really fit me and I was miserable. Since I started my career in care I've felt at home.

drofrub · 16/03/2018 02:48

I'm a teacher. I should have been a PA.

DeniseBest · 16/03/2018 02:55

I should have been a mortician. I prefer working with clients who don't complain and witter on incessantly.

faireemuff · 16/03/2018 03:18

A&E nurse

SootyandMathew · 16/03/2018 04:03

I should have been a man. That and normal vision. I should never have been short sighted.

I'd have been a fighter jet pilot à la Top Gun and I'd have played international rugby. I think I'm really Rory Underwood reincarnated except he's not dead.

FluffyWuffy100 · 16/03/2018 05:25

I should have gone into the police but it turns out I’m shit at finding the answers to clues

cheshiremama89 · 16/03/2018 05:28

Author

BitchQueen90 · 16/03/2018 05:55

Writer. Unfortunately I lack the discipline needed so I just do it as a hobby in the form of blogging. I work in a call centre. Grin

TheLastNigel · 16/03/2018 06:45

Band Scout for a record label. I'd be aces at that.
I also think I'll make a good counsellor (if I ever finish my my studies around life, sodding work and house renovating).

MessyBun247 · 16/03/2018 06:47

A counsellor definitely.

Ietthemeatcake · 16/03/2018 07:04

I should have been on the West End stage but because I passed my 11+ my parents wouldn't entertain me trying out for stage school. It was grammar school, A levels then a sensible degree because I could (days of free University education and neither of them stayed in school past 15).
Now I work in marketing.
They probably should have let me audition and not get in then I would have known I wasn't good enough 😂

topcat2014 · 16/03/2018 07:08

I should be a high powered board level finance director in a big town with a huge house taking serious decisions.

I am an accountant, but for a small company in a 'local' town, who is also in charge of making sure tea and coffee doesn't run out.

Tried the police (the free one, Special Constabulary) for 10 years - but, was a bit crap at it to be honest.
