just think you don’t fuck around with them. Anything could happen

But what's the alternative? To give into everything and let them take over the world?

It's shit SadAngry

MissionItsPossible · 14/03/2018 06:58

Why are you worried? Unless you are a high ranking government official there’s not really much you can do to intervene, is there, if it was actually necessary in the first place? Live life. Smile

GrannyGrissle · 14/03/2018 07:05

Stop reading/listening to the news. Leave him and Trumper to wave their willies at each other Envy not envy. There really is no point getting upset over ifs buts and maybes.

gamerwidow · 14/03/2018 07:06

They can hardly assassinate us all.

LEMtheoriginal · 14/03/2018 07:07

Teresa may seems to be doing her fair share of Willy waving tbh.

24hours or what? What are we gonna do? Errr.. .. yep

alligatortoss · 14/03/2018 07:14

Well I do live my life but I can still be concerned.

There's no point in worrying, though technically your right about it. It overshadows climate change, for now, the climate change is otherwise my biggest worry.

MrsJoshDun · 14/03/2018 07:19

It's hardly like we're scarily threatening them. Boris has said something about not letting them play football. Putin must be quaking in his boots.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 14/03/2018 07:23

They will just ignore us, which will be the most humiliating response.

We are like a yappy little chihuahua.

ParadiseCity · 14/03/2018 07:25

I was thinking of Telling My Dad On Them.

Does anyone else have suggestions?

meditrina · 14/03/2018 07:31

The 24 hour demand seems unwise, as the Russians cannot really be faulted either for pointing out the 10 day OPCW (UN) standard, or for requesting samples (a request which could reasonably be turned down, though it would be harder to withhold a proper report on what was analysed )

SideOrderofSprouts · 14/03/2018 07:31

they can hardly assasinate us all

Well.... actually

VileyRose · 14/03/2018 07:32

I think the news report it slightly differently.

papayasareyum · 14/03/2018 07:33

they CAN assassinate us all. It’s called a nuclear bomb.

gamerwidow · 14/03/2018 07:43

I know but it’s vanishingly unlikely they will launch nukes.
I’ll be disappointed if we don’t expel their diplomats as a minimum these tyrants are never appeased by keeping quiet so as not to rock the boat.
I’m usually very much in favour of diplomacy rather than playing hard ball but it’s pretty clear that Russia isn’t interested in diplomacy.

SideOrderofSprouts · 14/03/2018 07:44

I doubt they would use nukes however we get a lot of oil and gas from Russia and they could make life difficult

StealthPolarBear · 14/03/2018 07:44

I'm no may fan but I don't think it's fair to accuse her of willy waving. We needed a strong response not some wishy washy crap.
But what now? Is worrying the hell out of me

LifeBeginsAtGin · 14/03/2018 07:46

Send in Agent Cob to sort it out for us.

StealthPolarBear · 14/03/2018 07:46

Lol at telling your dad. My dad has an excellent disapproval face and tone. Set him on them. They'll apologise soon enough

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 14/03/2018 07:46

But we don’t have a strong response.

That’s the thing with ultimatums, you have to follow through. It’s stupid to even issue one.

gamerwidow · 14/03/2018 07:47

I’m also no fan of May but what else can she do. They came onto British soil to seriously harm people under our protection and one of our own police force. She can’t do nothing.

gamerwidow · 14/03/2018 07:48

I’m thinking of sending my Mum to let them know she’s not angry just disappointed Grin

StealthPolarBear · 14/03/2018 07:49

Well yes chardonnay. Most of us have had toddler, exactly that. What is her plan now, I'm hoping there is one.

ThisIsTheFirstStep · 14/03/2018 07:53

I used to worry about stuff. I’ve lived in Korea for 10 plus years now and believe me that really hardens you against worrying about shite on the news. How many times has the western media hyped up the situation with the north and made it sound like we’re all about to die? Trust me, while the west are acting like we’re about to get nuked, people in Seoul are going about their days without even thinking about it. They’ve heard it all before, and now, so have I. This time last year, the west would have had you believe KJU had his finger on the button - now, he’s making jokes with the South Koreans. It’s nonsense.

I just switch off from that kind of reporting these days, it’s so irresponsible and sensationalist.

JoyTheUnicorn · 14/03/2018 07:56

It worries me that Putin could easily take advantage of the fact that the world seems more divided at the moment.
UK is not the power that it used to be, and we're no longer as united with the rest of Europe.
USA has Trump to contend with, and if it's true that the Russians have info on him, he may be more likely to back out (and has he just sacked the person who was advocating for a strong reaction? I may have got that all wrong). Plus he's preoccupied with willy waving with Jong Un.
If Russia did have a hand in recent elections (Brexit, Trump etc?), I imagine Putin's looking on at the growing divisions and waiting for his chance to move.
