Bing: some kind of child rabbit with a weird old man sock puppet who follows him around as his full time carer. For the uninitiated, his escapades mainly involve him whinging and moaning about some shit like dropping an ice cream or finding a weird potato or wanting a plaster...
Surely THE most annoying TV character ever to be dreamt up. He's such a whiny little nobhead! Unfortunately my almost 1 year old bloody loves him. Sometimes it's the only way I can get her to eat her tea, by having this idiot on the tele.
He makes me feel genuine anger.
Give me Peppa any day of the week over this needy dickhead.

I hate Bing. Repeatedly told not to do something, does it and then whinges about it. And then "doing something literally everyone does. It's a Bing thing." No its clearly freaking not.

Well, plot twist... he's already dead! They're all dead and they're all in purgatory. This theory is the only thing that gets me through Bing. I watch it with new eyes since hearing this on MN, it's how flop stays so patient.

Thankfully we have progressed beyond Bing but I still, sometimes, have to suffer Peter Bloody Rabbit. I won't be happy in until he and his little friends are covered in pastry and in the oven!!

Surely children's TV is for children, YOU don't have to watch it. The important thing is whether the children enjoy it. If not, teach them Latin or something useful.

Yep. Bing here too. DD likes to binge watch. She seems to need the tv on even if she's not watching it, and woe betide anyone who tries to change the channel.
She is obsessed with bloody bing. When, at 9am she says, "watch bing now", that's it for the rest of the day. We go out to clubs to get away from bing the butterfly killer. We have Bing knickers, Bing bedding, Bing nighties, Bing toys, they all have to play hide and seek. There's Bing on the tv, whilst we do a Bing puzzle, then read a bing book. If we are lucky, we make Bing out of lego. Ffs.
He is petulant, moody and generally leads flop a terrible life.
I long for the days (weeks) where we get to have Pat or something special on over and over. But not bing.
In fairness, DD is only three and has ASC so, I guess the imaginative play the soft toys bring is good and her acting out the espisodes is better. But why Bing. I cannot stand Bing.

The problem I have with Bing, apart from the fact he’s an intolerable whiner, is he doesn’t talk properly. I don’t get why the program makers do it.. we’re trying to teach our pre-schoolers how to speak properly and here’s a show that’s lead character doesn’t??
Fortunately in our house, Bing has now gone on a very, very long holiday and so he can’t be on tv. Hey Duggee and Sarah & Duck all the way now.

My son literally grabs my head and turns my face to watch the tv when something particularly funny is on.
