Colleague left me stranded in the snow

Work alongside a colleague, I currently have no car and have been one of the only few people to get into work with all this bad snow. Today, we got the go ahead to go home and she has dropped me off to the closest train station. There is one train showing up as running in the opposite direction, no staff here at the station and no one available to collect me.

AIBU to think she could have driven the 20 minutes to drop me home (she has a 4x4)???

Sorry if I've missed an update but did she know your train didn't come? Or did she drop you at the station and go home?

I dunno. It's different conditions depending on where you live so I'm picturing from the city to a suburb ( roads being ok) and some of you might be picturing treacherous windy lanes. All I know is that I walked 15 mins to the shop a couple of hours ago and I have never known it so cold in the UK, and I REALLY wouldn't want to be sat waiting for a delayed train in this.
Also, I didn't have a car for years, and a it's really not easy to "just ask" for lifts but I'm happy to be able to make life easier for other people now I can.

You're being ridiculous OP. She's a work colleague and she dropped you off at the station as you both agreed. Get a grip and stop wailing "I'm pregnant" to hide your unreasonableness.

No, the colleague had no idea the trains had been cancelled.

The OP checked via Trainline and as far as both of them were concerned the trains were running. Colleague dropped OP off at the station and then went home, fully expecting the train to arrive.

If I was her I'd be telling you to make your own bloody way in & see how you like them apples....

And how would you feel about an extra 40 minutes added to your drive in this weather? Being a bit nippy at the station is a lot safer than driving in this weather....
