Half pints are annoying, you have to queue up twice as often. Why are you even asking?

The best bet is to order two half pints at a time, you get your desired drink in your desired quantity and date gets to see you as a delicate little thing but knows the score.

How the flip are we supposed to know what you want to drink???

Ask yourself this - 'what would I like to drink?'
Then order it...

If you're in a pub order whatever you usually drink, if the person you're with doesn't like it, you've found out sooner than later that they're a tosser

Get what you like. There's no point in pretending you only like prosecco, when you actually would prefer a dark ale! If the guy has a problem with this, then it's time to move on.

If you get a half pint it will be gone in 2 gulps then you will have to go back to the bar for another. Just get a pint and be done with it.

Its a pretty good filter - if he has a problem with it he isn't worth a second date anyway.

I used to drink pints as a student, and the one man who insisted on bringing me halves because I was female when it was his round was indeed a waste of oxygen, though I was young and it took me a few months to see it.

Dh used to comment when I ordered a pint. He's not perfect but almost 7 years later I would say that he has responded well to an intensive training program!
