paxillin · 25/02/2018 12:58

Well, I, erm... no.

Nikephorus · 25/02/2018 13:01

Maybe if we were all on glue it would be clearer?

kevinkeeganlovesme · 25/02/2018 13:07

Makes me want to be on glue.

Meandmy4 · 25/02/2018 13:16

Some dont get my humour

No it's just that you're not funny.

Frusso · 25/02/2018 13:47

mean you clearly don't know MN as well as you think you do if you don't understand my glue question.
As for PVA crayons in a fort; won't somebody think of the children, and at least give them some cutted up pear.

kevinkeeganlovesme · 25/02/2018 13:50

I think the glue question was actually very applicable seeing as op isn't making that much sense.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 25/02/2018 13:52

Have you considered cancelling the cheque?

ShortandAnnoying · 25/02/2018 14:00

Mumsnet has had an unwritten rule not to use anything less than the perfect English you would submit your thesis in for years. Huns has become an unflattering description of the rival site netmums.
I do think it would be a great idea to have a standard sarcastic response for all threads though. Mine would be Meh Confused Biscuit

Whatshallidonowpeople · 25/02/2018 14:11

Posts commenting on spelling and grammar are not nasty, they are giving the poster a chance to learn something, improve themselves and stop looking like uneducated fools. They should thank anyone who offers them this help.

NotUmbongoUnchained · 25/02/2018 14:11

U wot m8?

AmIthatbloodycold · 25/02/2018 14:46

Welcome back Sharon. All of MN has missed your 'sense of humour'.

MammaAgata · 25/02/2018 15:48

Jesus fucking Christ........

iklboo · 25/02/2018 15:50

Nope. Sorry.

RedDogsBeg · 25/02/2018 16:16

OP, you've been on MN a few weeks and have autocratically decided to tell everyone how they must use the forum and you can't understand why that would go down like a cup of cold sick?

You say you are on a mission to lighten everything up and then post frankly incomprehensible nonsense that is impossible to understand let alone respond to.

There are plenty of lighthearted threads and areas on MN and equally there are plenty of threads and areas of support.

It is difficult to read tone on posts and because of that if your humour falls flat you just have to accept that either people don't share your sense of humour or they are misinterpreting the style in which it is delivered.

If there is a thread you don't like or don't like comments on threads, hide the thread.

Frusso · 25/02/2018 16:20

Has anybody actually worked out what the OP is declaring as her sarcastic response?

DaphneFanshaw · 25/02/2018 16:22

OK. Who has the gin?

DalekDalekDalek · 25/02/2018 16:24

English is my first language and I'm from the generation that invented text speak but I have no idea what is going on here.

Confused
LadySainsburySeal · 25/02/2018 16:26

I had hoped that this thread would have a translation by now. Still lost. Confused

DalekDalekDalek · 25/02/2018 16:30

Still confused by most of it but:

i do not wish or want to offend anybody

Your posts do make it sound a little like you are trying to offend plenty on people on MN.

In which case, if you don't like it here, no one is twisting your arm behind your back.

Sparkletastic · 25/02/2018 16:37

Oh dear.
