Is he desperate?

Hello, what do you all make of this? I have been going to a public place, wont say where as possibly outing, with my DS and his father. Although me and DS' s father are not together we still go out as a family and may well look like we are in a relationship.
Anyway we go to this public place everyweek and a person that is employed there has made it very obvious that he likes me. He smiles and stares. The usual stuff to show he 'likes me'.
However in that time I have been pregnant and had my DD, which he is aware of, and he is still giving me hints that he 'likes me'. I also believe he thinks I like him as 2 years ago I stared at him for no particular reason but since then I have given him no 'hints'.
I do not get why this bloke would pursue me withme having two children and a 'partner'. AIBU unfair to think he is desperate

I doubt he fancies you, OP. I suspect he is friendly looking to everyone.

It's not like he's asked you out. He's glanced in your direction and you are a regular visitor to this public place.

This thread is just weird, you've posted asking for opinions,which you got and they didn't suit you so you went on to tell everyone how attractive you are so you're original theory must be true and all opinions that you asked for are now wrong...why ask in the first place?? Also you're the one sounds a bit desperate and possibly very bored in life if you're on a mission to prove a bunch of strangers wrong who you don't know and won't ever meet. I have images of you cornering the poor chap and asking if he wouldn't mind just making a short video explaining why he's pursuing you like a big grinning emoji faced hormone from across the room for two years just so you can post it here,prove all of us wrong,at which point we will be devastated and have to apologise for doubting your fabulousness and you'll live your life happily ever after pure delighted with yourself hahaha haha

If you're attractive you are used to attention from the opposite sex. And yes you'd know it can go through pregnancy or having a partner. You wouldn't post about it because it would be your norm.

As such, my take is you're not used to attention. So you've built this into something major in your head, as it's not your norm, and you want this man to fancy you, and wished the thread to validate that.

Just go on your own. Get chatting to him. Give him an opportunity to make a move. You clearly like him, so stop being weird about it and starting mad threads and just go in on your own and try to chat.

I do know the difference between someone being polite, someone finding me attractive and someone liking me and he definitely likes me. It is not wishful thinking on my part. Just curious as to why he would carry on with his behaviour when I am playing 'happy families '

You’re a familiar face he’s being friendly, the fella at my unis Nero said ‘hi dipping haven’t seen you for a while, hope you’ve been ok!’ On Friday. Might marry him
