Here it is!!!

OP posts:

I think the las Vegas shooting has a lot more to it than what's been released. Some weird things are:

The lack of any footage of paddock in the hotel being released when Vegas casinos have cameras everywhere. Although this could be damage control by MGM as they are being sued.

The changing story of the security guard Jesus Campos and the fact that he disappeared minutes before he was due to do a live news interview and said he just took a vacation to mexico. Later he appeared in a heavily scripted interview on the Ellen show of all places

The adjoining rooms with shots fired from both but according to police accounts the door between them was locked from the inside of the room paddock wasn't in when they entered.

His girlfriend's fingerprints found on the ammo and the large amount of money transferred to the Philippines.

I think there is lot more to it than is being released to the media.

No, notwell, you’re not well...

Justanotherlurker · 21/02/2018 22:06

I will add some more

Elsagate

Ancestry, 23andMe, and other DNA testing companies all have huge databases with millions of entries.

Considering they are a commercial organisation, GCHQ, NSA and other alphabet agencies all now have access to your DNA! Think about all the fun they could have with that

ImListening · 21/02/2018 22:29

Thanks for another thread.

I wanted to research my dna but was put off by the fact that it may be shared. A shame as I would have loved to have found out more about my ancestors.

Notwellbitch · 21/02/2018 22:43

No, notwell, you’re not well...

Ok. HmmI'm not saying it didn't happen or that they were all actors or anything like that, I know it was a real and terrible event. Just that some facts might be being covered up.

Iwasjustabouttosaythat · 22/02/2018 00:23

Isn’t Elsagate just people putting adult content over kids shows on YouTube? Have I got that wrong? It doesn’t sound like a conspiracy.

beluga425 · 22/02/2018 07:49

The conspiracy is meant to be paedophile rings desensitising and grooming children who watch the videos.

OP posts:
Iwasjustabouttosaythat · 22/02/2018 09:43

Grooming complete strangers?

beluga425 · 22/02/2018 10:25

Apparently so, but that's not at all unknown. Children have been befriended on all sorts of social networking platforms. Not sure it stacks up here, but if dodgy people are putting this stuff up its possible they might try to groom kids who view it.

OP posts:
FizzyGreenWater · 22/02/2018 10:52

What is the Roger Ackroyd mistake?!

I know that one well and can't possibly think of it!

PLEASE put me out of my misery :)

sonyaya · 22/02/2018 11:14

@fizzygreenwater

I haven’t read it myself but apparently someone called Pierre Bayard (?) has written a book proposing an alternative solution where there is a different killer so you’ll find your answer in there! Interesting to wonder if Agatha Christie was deliberately doing this or if it was an oversight on her part (assuming there really is an error)

Elsagate is very much real sadly. As i said on another thread, there was a famous family blogger who jokes about drugging his wife to make more babies sendvid.com/edx1t61y, was never held accountable and his channel is watched by 100s of 1000s of young kids. His channel uses the word "friend" all the time to create an emotional connection, totally fake but when you are an 8 yr old devout fan you think this family really is your friend....and buy their merchandise.
His children's images have appeared on some very strange and worrying accounts and sites and yet they do nothing to protect them. Their digital footprint is shocking as the eldest is only 5. There are also conspiracy theories that this channel is pandering to a certain audience by having endless clickbait titles with 'BABY', 'KIDS' etc and most of the thumbnails feature the kids.

More worryingly, ^ He has also 'written' a popular children's book which some of your kids may have. obviously the publisher did not do due dilligence. There was also an incident when he spoke to underage fans on Omegle which is an adult chat site and the fans gave out their private phone numbers, ages etc in the hope he would contact them. Oddly, the videos were deleted. Nothing was done by him or management to safeguard the underage fans. God know who got hold of their information. very scary as these platforms are not regulated at all with the kids in mind.

FizzyGreenWater · 22/02/2018 11:45

Oooh cheers guys... will look it up... :)

noeffingidea · 22/02/2018 11:49

notwell I think it's usual not to release all the facts of a criminal investigation to the media, so there's nothing particularly strange about it.

ImListening · 22/02/2018 17:45

Just googled the alternative ending for Roger Ackroyd & will reread with that in mind.

Not a shameless bump at all Grin

Justanotherlurker · 22/02/2018 18:44

Re elsagate

It was a rabbit hole that I went down a few months back while i was bored on an 8 hour flight.

The conspiracy is what CupofCake said desensitizing for possible grooming, people have spotted regular commentators on some of these 'elsa gate' videos commenting on videos of young children.

Were alien abductions ever a thing in the UK?

Growing up in the states, I'd see stories on TV and it wasn't that unusual to meet a person who said they had experienced an alien encounter. A lot of people believed that the government knew about aliens and covered it up.

Since I moved over here, it's much less common to hear anything like that. Is it an American thing, or have the stories vanished with the rise of the internet?

SofieMonde · 22/02/2018 22:28

this has more recent stuff www.reddit.com/r/ElsaGate/

SofieMonde · 22/02/2018 22:31

A while back there was discussion about some weird codes on the video comments as a way for pedophiles to communicate in plain sight and people were trying to find patterns and what they meant. Some of them had messages like 'meet at park with x' - there are probably a few threads about the codes maybe they have been deciphered better...stranger things have happened....

Iwasjustabouttosaythat · 23/02/2018 00:48

WhoWants, I do tend to think of the alien abduction craze as a particularly American thing. As these “abductions” pretty much all take place when people are in their beds, (then they can’t move, then they’re on a spaceship, then they’re back in bed) I think they were pretty much all put down to sleep terrors/paralysis.

In the UK you’ll find this much more with ghosts, and different things in other cultures (lots of vampires in some Asian countries). It’s to do with the media around you and when X-Files as at its height of popularity the rate of reported abductions went though the roof. So it’s that or the aliens knew we were all watching the X-Files so chose that time to do it for a laugh. Grin

Iwasjustabouttosaythat · 23/02/2018 01:24

For anyone who’s looked deeply into Elsagate, what are your thoughts? That Wikipedia article was fascinating. I’m very strict with DS about what he can watch on YouTube, and now I feel like YouTube Kids was a bad thing to get for him. He knows there’s scary stuff on YT so never to put in a video without asking, and never to leave the page or read the comments, but I think YTK lulls him and us into a false sense of confidence.

Thing is, these videos are so popular with adults and I was surprised at the reddit thread posting endless videos for their (apparently) tens of thousands of readers on that topic to watch. How many clicks is that? How much money is that for the producers? Wouldn’t be surprised if they were on reddit themselves adding new videos for everyone to be shocked about.

I think anything on the internet that allows people to communicate with children will attract creeps, but I don’t think they’re necessarily running these companies. Several have been shut down with no links to any other criminal behaviour. I also think with the dark web they don’t really need to be communicated with each other on there but I don’t know.

Still, I think this conspiracy is entirely plausible and depressing. The internet has been great in so many ways but sometimes I wish the whole thing never happened.

Iwasjustabouttosaythat · 23/02/2018 08:51

Wake up MN/bump!

onewhitewhisker · 23/02/2018 09:24

ooh intrigued by the roger ackroyd thing. i've read it lots of times and have no idea what the 'mistake' that christie supposedly made is... anyone know?

FairiesVsPixies · 23/02/2018 10:17

A conspiracy posted on the other thread led me down a rabbit hole which told me about the death of Heather O'Rouke. Very suspicious! Do not Google if easily upset.

Just googled this one. It can't be true because her mother had phoned the paramedics from home - she wasn't at that studio. Unless her mum was involved in the cover-up, which is not likely. I hope so anyway Sad.
But that's not to say something dodgy didn't take place, which takes us back to the ambling one........
