Hope the link works. I'm glad she got arrested.

I'm glad too. What on earth was she thinking? Shock

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 19/02/2018 10:52

Good. Stupid woman. I'm sick of people's attitudes towards first response staff, the sense of entitlement stinks.

However this is MN so I eagerly await someone popping on to tell us why it's terrible that she was arrested

MuseumOfCurry · 19/02/2018 10:55

She's far from an ideal citizen, but since when did leaving vitriolic messages on someone's car become illegal?

MoistCantaloupe · 19/02/2018 10:56

MuseumOfCurry Apparently she gave verbal abuse as well.

kissmethere · 19/02/2018 10:58

Unbelievable. She's vile.

MuseumOfCurry · 19/02/2018 10:58

I see. Wink

beepthemeep · 19/02/2018 10:58

What the hell is the matter with some people?

IllHaveALargeGlassOfRed · 19/02/2018 10:58

And she clearly couldn't spell "ambulance" so wrote "van" instead! V A N says "van" Grin

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 19/02/2018 10:59

I read about that last night. I'm glad she's being made an example of.
Ambulance people do a wonderful job. Where would we be without them.

The selfish bitch will probably need them herself one day.

No one gets paid enough to put up with abuse from smart arses

ExhaustedAndHormonal · 19/02/2018 11:00

Yeah it states verbal abuse too.

Never in a million years would I dream of doing something like that. I couldn't care less if. My entire street was blocked by emergency services.. As they have a job to do and I'm lucky not to be on the recieving end

Oh yeah, I couldn't work out why she wrote van - did she not know it was an ambulance? But you're right, she probably couldn't spell it.

Mummyoflittledragon · 19/02/2018 11:13

It’s all over the news this morning. Regarding the spelling, I thought writing van was odd. As it say ambulance on the side of it she could have copied the letters. Probably too thick to think of that. Vile woman.

Fluffyears · 19/02/2018 11:13

Ambulances are only ever there for a short time so just let them crack in then when they move you can nip back into your space ffs! I do hope they punish her!

BitOutOfPractice · 19/02/2018 11:13

She could have copied it from the side of the...erm...van though couldn't she?

She's probably have copied the mirror written version on the front though if her level of intelligence is anything to go by Grin

Ifailed · 19/02/2018 11:19

You can only do parking threads on here with a diagram.

SlothMama · 19/02/2018 11:20

She's a complete selfish idiot but what law has she actually broken?

YassQueen · 19/02/2018 11:21

Public order offence as she also verbally abused the crews.

SlothMama · 19/02/2018 11:22

I didn't see that she was also verbally abusive in the news report I read yesterday, fair enough. Lets hope she never needs an ambulance and someone tries to get in the way of her treatment.

SumThucker · 19/02/2018 11:23

Silly ignorant cow.

BigChocFrenzy · 19/02/2018 11:27

Seems she was charged fairly:

Section 4 of the Charging Standards for Public Order Offences

https://www.cps.gov.uk/legal-guidance/public-order-offences-incorporating-charging-standard

"The following types of conduct are examples which may at least be capable of amounting to threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour:
• threats made towards innocent bystanders or individuals carrying out public service duties "

KitKat1985 · 19/02/2018 11:28

I work in the NHS and honestly, I'm not surprised.

BigChocFrenzy · 19/02/2018 11:29

We should all accept there can be some inconvenience when the emergency services do their job
Might be any one of us needing that emergency service next time

mrsreynolds · 19/02/2018 11:31

I hope they throw the book at her the mouth breathing knuckle dragger 😡

thecatsthecats · 19/02/2018 11:31

Museum - to be honest, why is leaving a - in your owns words - vitriolic message any worse behaviour? Yes, if someone was to say something foul to me it would have more impact than if it were written down, but a written message could just as easily cause stress and upset to someone, so of course it should be an arrestable offence.

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 19/02/2018 11:32

KitKat I do too - sadly I've seen it all too often. People don't think twice about screaming at a A&E receptionist because they need to go home and watch the football, so when will their child be seen? People also barge into other peoples cubicles and demand to see the doctor who is speaking to another patient. Nothing shocks me anymore
