Anyone here who weigh 16 stone, what dress are you?

what logic are you talking about? I'm querying why someone who weighs 9 stone thinks her opinion is of any interest on a thread for people who weigh or have weighed 16 stone. There's nothing illogical about that. Her completely offside comment is the ultimate in me-railing.

And I'm sorry that piss off is the best you can do Lettuce. You obviously don't have anything intelligent to add.

Ollivander you look amazing! Definitely wishing I had a few more inches!

Sostenueto · 18/02/2018 06:36

Just a point here. You can go into several shops a d each one you would have to buy a different size. I see this not only in my wardrobe but in my dgds too and in hers sizes range from 10-14 and all fit perfectly.

CheeseGirl4 · 18/02/2018 07:31

I expected to see variation in sizes because of height, and muscle too will make a big difference, I really DIDN'T expect someone 4 inches shorter to expect to be two dress sizes less!

It would be interesting to see what the variance was if we all had the same sets of clothes for fit and scale. I suspect it would be a lot narrower range, vanity sizing has gone a bit mad. I have a size 16 dress from years ago (early 90s vintage!) as my 'goal dress', I cannot fit into it until I weigh circa 11stone (I'm 5'8" and generally fit in modern 12s then).

I think the fact I'm 9 stone annoys A580Hojas, not my problem!

A580Hojas · 18/02/2018 10:22

Ha! It's not your weight that annoys me Lettuce. It is your lack of basic comprehension skills.

cookiie · 18/02/2018 12:05

A580Hojas I get what you're saying about the 9 stone comment, but no need to go into attack mode Thanks

Lettuce I'm fucking jealous, 9 stone is awesome! 😄

Ollivander wow you look great!

Don't be I still don't look slim, because my frame is tiny I weigh too much. That's the point I was trying to make, what A580Hojas doesn't get is that even at my slimmest 7.5 stone I STILL had a massive fat arse and big hips because that is my build and body type, so 16 stone can be totally different on different shaped people.

Sostenueto · 18/02/2018 13:42

I am classic apple shape.
