Yes. Thread title is 16 stone? Then op asks people who weigh 16 stone what size they are. It has got nothing to do with people who weigh 9 stone. I'm completely baffled as to what sort of contribution you think you are making. OK?

I'm about 16 stone, 6ft tall. I usually need a 22-24 top (boobs are a 38JJ...) but wear stretch tops to avoid looking like I'm drowning in my tops. Bottom a fairly consistent 18, but I like a smooth silhouette, could probably do a 16 up but would feel like I looked like an over stuffed sausage.

I am a size 16 top (tight fit), 14 bottoms (tight fit) - and I am only 12.5 stone and 5'6"! Big boobs and larger waist, slimmish hips probably make the difference. At 13.5 stone I was probably size 22 top, 16 bottom.

If I was 16 stone I would probably be size 24.

I am also confused at variance. I weigh 3 stone less but am same "dress size".

Perhaps I have a "big" frame though - wide shoulders. Even if I was 11 stone - I'd look pretty slim - but I'd still be a size 12, maybe 14 on top!

I was using my height and weight to show that weight doesn't always equate to size, that it's frame that can affect dress size. Still you think what you wish ya daft woman!

When I weighed 16 stone I was a size 22. I'm now 14 stone and a size 18/20 at 5' 5" all my weight is round my waist. To think your 16 stone and a size 16 seems a bit optimistic to me unless your really tall??

As a woman of 5'3" myself I would expect to be a 10 at 9 stone, 12 at 10 stone, 14 at 11 stone, 16 at 12 stone, 18 at 13 stone, 20 at 14 stone etc.

I'm confused! I'm currently at my heaviest, 13 stone and 5ft 8, I have to buy size 16-18. No way could I get into a size 16-18 if I was 16 stone?

At a height of 5'2" 16 stones would be double a healthy weight for me so morbidly obese. If I was 6'8" I would (just) be a healthy weight.

At my largest I was 15 st 10 at 5'4" and I was a tight 16 top and 18 bottom.
