16 stone?

Anyone here who weigh 16 stone, what dress are you?

Depends - I am currently wearing a size 16 skirt, size 20 top and a size 18 cardigan ( and they all fit). I think it depends on the cut, fabric and retailer.

I was last year. I wore a 20 (5ft8) but an 18 would have fit I just preferred a bigger fit. Just under 14 stone now and a 14/16

Its all so variable! Depending upon height and build....I'm 5'7" and about 12 stone, feel that my bust is in proportion (38C) and wear 16/18 tops and 14/16 bottoms and I don't really like to wear my clothes loose - I need to wear a 16/18 for fit!

I'm 5'4 and just under 16 stone, I wear a 22 mostly. But I think with vanity sizing if I wanted to wear loose clothes all the time I could be a 20.

I'm just under 16st and 5'8".
I wear an 18 on bottom and 20/22 on top a have large boobs too!

I wear a 22/24 on top mainly because my boobs are a 36GG so I need the bigger size to fit them in. I wear size 18 jeans/leggings

Aren’t sizes odd! I’m 12.5 stone (175 lbs) and size 16 bottom, 14 top.

So I’m trying to see how 16 stone (224 lbs) is also size 16.

Must be cos I’m a short arse

This time last year I was 16 stone, size 16 on top and bottom 5'7". I always seem to weigh more than others my size though, DP says I'm 'dense'

I’m 5ft 7 and the biggest I’ve been is just under 15 stone. I was a size 16 then and could just about squeeze into a 14 on top but it was tight. I’m guessing if I had gone up to 16 stone I would have been an 18, maybe even creeping up to a 20

18/20 bottom, 14-16 top I think. Don't buy much and keep promising myself to lose weight first...

Depends on height. My DD is just over 16 stone and 5'8, size 16 bottoms, 18 top but as pp said, it also depends on the shop/cut/quality etc. of the clothes.

5ft 3" & was a size 24, when I was 16st.

catmumof1 that's me too! I am only short, (5'3) but weigh heavy if you know what I mean

I am currently 17.5st and in a size 18/20 - my friend is same height but considerably lighter and in a 16!

I’m 15 stone and size 18 at 5’7”. I imagine I’d be a 20 at a stone heavier. That’s Boden /monsoon/ M&S sizes etc.

I'm starting to lose weight (gained after being sick last year) but right now I'm a standard size 18, just over 16 stone and 5ft 9 but I have a fair amount of size 16's I wear too (leggings, jeans)

I have been 16 stone twice in my life. Once when I was 21 and once when I was 28. At 21 I needed a size 22 and clothes mostly came from Evans as plus size options were few and far between then.

At 28 I fitted perfectly into a size 18 from supermarkets to shops like new look and also Evans again.

Height has always remained the same so i must have just had more blubber the first time or it could also be down to clothes being cut more generously these days :)

I can never get my head around the variance! I'm 5'8" and was a good size 20 at 16 stone. I need to be roughly somewhere between 12 stone and 14 stone to fit in a 16.

I'm over 19 stone, hoping to get down to 16 stone and squeeze into a 18 🙈. I'm 5"7 btw. Wow tailfeather you'll be a 14 soon by the way you're going!

I've started losing weight now but still a sz 20 at 15.5 st - I can squeeze into Boden sz 18 at 15st but not consistently and comfortably until sub 14.5st.

I'm 5ft 8 and 18 stone and wear a size 18 OP. SO at 5ft7 and 16 stone you should fit in size 18 fine! I also have massive boobs which doesn't help.

OP I’m sure you’ll be able to!

A lot depends on the shop you're buying from. A size 18 in one place doesn't mean you'll be size 18 in another, and often not even in the same store in a different style.
