The Scottish Government's consultation on changes to the GRA closes on 1st March 2018.

The rest of the UK will likely follow Scotland's decision, so this is your chance to make your views known.

For those who don't yet understand the risks to women from changes to the Gender Recognition Act, please read this document. It is pretty straightforward

Given how one sided I felt so many of those questions were, they may have just finished it with, "We're doing this anyway you horrible bigot"

I am shocked that one of the questions is should gender change stop being classed as grounds for divorce?! (In so many words anyway). Why should someone be forced to stay married to someone if that person has opted to become someone else?! I feel like I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole

Yes that one pissed me off too. It's a fundamental change to who a person is (or else why bother changing or wanting it legally recognised)

"It appalling how this proposed legislation has been allowed to get this far" agreed - I though we lived in a democracy, I know very few people who agree with this and even in the media it's a VERY small number of arrogant arses trying to push this through.

I have a few trans friends and even they're starting to pull type faces at some of the crap being said.
