That was my first thought too

It's impossible to say. I've seen high ability year 1s who could write like that but it potentially could be a teenager who struggles with writing. It's impossible to guess an age.
Do you want to know if it would be typical of an average ability child of a particular age? In that case I'd put it at about a 9 yr old maybe?
Although the lack of cursive writing and the spacing/size of some of the letters as well as some of the spelling errors make me think maybe a high ability much younger child?

I said around 9, but my child is not English. True, probably younger than 9.

I think the kid is probably older. The idea that someone is having a bad time because they are not 'being respected' would be a bit odd for a younger child.

I think it's an older kid, maybe 11 or 12, who is struggling with their writing.

Yes the op title is extremely poor my apologies, I had two different ideas for posting in my head at once. Amusing that people are picking at that though.

I'm going to say about 11, based in the completely un-scientific theory that the kid in the story is 11, and the kid probably wrote about someone similar to him(her)self.

Agree with BlueMirror, could be high ability Yr1 child or mid ability Yr6 child.

We don't know the age and guessing is pointless. Tell us the age and explain your concerns and you'll get honest advice and feedback.

Children always write about other children their age, unless they pick some highly glamorous age like 16. So I think the child is 11.
