Whilst she was undoubtedly being a CF, I wonder if it wouldn't have been worth contacting the previous owners to see what contact details they had for her? Too late now, obviously, but it might have meant you could have had a trail of written evidence to prove that she was indeed being a CF & had had ample warning.

I think it might have been better to get some kind of legal advice first. This has the potential to turn very nasty. OP, you were within your rights to chuck apparently abandoned crap off your property - but you don't know what the previous agreement was. And obviously can't ask the previous owner, what with the whole dead thing, that I should have noticed before...
