Just watched the clip of Jacob rees mogg at Bristol university, when a few momentum activists try to cause havoc and stop him from talking

Whatever anyone thinks of this man, I have to say he was pretty gutsy going up to them, considering they are all hiding behind Balaclavas and scarves and there wasn't any security there.
Most politicians wouldn't have gone near them, let alone try to talk to them

I like him. Yes his views are controversial and I don't agree with some of them, but at least he stands up for what he believes in

Yes, I have repeatedly invited her to do condemn the anti-democrats.

At no point have I asked her to apologise for anything though.

Words matter, and I object to being misrepresented.

not RTFT yet, but on page 12, some complain about protests/riots. Am I the only one on here (a male/father of 2ds too) totally shocked and horrified by this political protest is a right in all but dictatorships.
So seeing the suffragettes just over a century ago actually died to get WOMEN THE RIGHT TO VOTE EXACTLY 100 YEARS THIS FUCKING YEAR you should be ashamed of yourselves.
The likes of JRM and BORIS where exactly against women and working class men (LIKE ME) voting, and I bet they would to turn the clocks back tomorrow.
So maybe the protesters where wrong, but with the likes of Emily Pankhurst and the suffragettes you and the anti protesters would still be at home and have no say over anything.
Rees Mogg is no friend of mine, and whilst I don't agree with violence, I totally believe everyone has the right to protest. So if necessary it can need violence as with the suffragettes
Still can't beleive feminist's have forgot their own history, to defend an awful man, who has power to change peoples life for the worst, and is an obvious women hater.
But love to hate the left, without the likes of makeourfuture you and I wouldn't have the following:-

The Nhs
Free schooling
affordable and main safe housing though JRM voted against Grenfell towers safety measures.
So I personally respect the likes makeourfuture over the likes of Elton and her tory lovers, any day
Maybe because I lost a distant family member fighting Franco in Spain, and also had a great Aunt who was disabled, born in 1901, who's father took a cane to a teacher who hit her for being left handed. Also I can remember female relatives who where born without the right to vote or own property.
But you carry on giving up the hard fought rights those brave women/men won you, so you can lick JRM?BORIS arses

@TryAgainAndAgain Grin when the moment strikes. I don't know if you were around for the Meghan Markle and Harry threads. I came close to deleting my account and letting it go. I'm usually very tempered especially when it concerns MiLs. I have a special place in my heart for them. (I'm not one by the way). I just occasionally have an opinion or two.

Violent protest is for when people DONT have a voice.

In a democracy with free speech the pen is mightier than the sword.

It seems in this case the thuggish Momentum activists weren't actually able to espouse any principles. So they were just thugs.
