Anyone following this?

Haribols - That's awful. It's hard enough sitting waiting for an op let alone dealing with this.

spicerack · 23/04/2018 13:48

where are these videos? I can't see them

Nicknacky · 23/04/2018 13:48

That video of the scenes outside are horrific. It's going to end up a large scale public disorder situation.

Burntout93 · 23/04/2018 13:48

Through it is possible those in that video outside the hospital are relatives or friends of Tom and Kate.

angelnix · 23/04/2018 13:48

I really do feel for little Alfie, the hell that his parents are going through, but this has to stop. Storming a children's hospital, having a police presence in a PICU, threatening staff with legal action.......my heart goes out to the staff who are working there and the other families and patients on the ward and in the hospital.

This was never going to end well, the death of anyone is awful, but in these circumstances, it's horrific. Police will end up arresting people shortly

MynameisJune · 23/04/2018 13:49

And if you read the comments to the videos lots of people are saying they should have more respect for the other families so I think even within the followers they are losing respect for the way things are unfolding.

Scrumptiousbears · 23/04/2018 13:49

The video I saw was the family not the army Confused

Dobbythesockelf · 23/04/2018 13:49

The posts about killing him have really upset a close family friend who made the heart breaking decision to let her child go. I really hate the inflammatory remarks and language. The army do not seem to care about other people at all.

I have attached the pic TE just posted of Alfie right now with his eyes open.

I know those with medical qualifications are saying it's likely he's seizing and that's why his eyes are open, but Jesus, when you look at that, he doesn't look ill. Not like Charlie Gard did in his final days. If you were the parent looking down at that child, I can see why you would think every avenue hadn't yet been exhausted.

I just feel sympathy for everyone all around.

KoshaMangsho · 23/04/2018 13:50

@HariboIsMyCrack I am a mum who used to have a baby in NICU for nearly 10 weeks. I know what it’s like to be in hospital with a poorly baby. You have all our sympathy on this day today. Hope it all goes swimmingly with Mini Haribo.
I have seen babies die in the NICU and it haunts me for ever. As does the dignity of their parents. My heart goes out to all the families with children in the hospital today.

Yamayo · 23/04/2018 13:50

Video of the army (I assume) is on Twitter. People are trying to walk into the hospital but the police is barring the way.

RJnomore1 · 23/04/2018 13:50

Thank you for replying to me about the photo.

Birdsgottafly · 23/04/2018 13:51

jaseyraex, there's still the same noise level. I'm watching the live streaming, the road isn't blocked. The storming of the hospital is disgusting. People are treating it as a day out to cause a bit of bother.

There's a full Police line up outside the entrance, so no-one is getting in.

MorningCuppa · 23/04/2018 13:51

The scenes outside the hospital front entrance are distressing, I've just watched it on Twitter, I feel so so sorry for anyone who has to go to that hospital or who is there with there children, absolutely disgusting. AA are a disgrace.

angelnix · 23/04/2018 13:51

Haribo (love your username btw!), I'm so sorry that you are having to endure this on top of the stress that you already have. Fingers crossed that your little one goes to theatre soon and is quickly back in your arms xx

GrimSqueaker · 23/04/2018 13:51

This was always going to deteriorate into them losing control of the Army and it basically becoming an angry mob with a mind of its own.

I remember being in hospital with my own kids and other parents being asked to leave (was a dad being removed on social services' say-so) - even when they went willingly I was terrified being in the same fairly cramped space with a child I couldn't exactly pick up and move to safety - so random family members behaving how they have been on those Lives must be horrific.

Weezol · 23/04/2018 13:51

Haribo I am thinking of you. I know that's just words on a screen, but I hate that parents and children are having extra worry heaped on them at an already difficult time.

ShatnersWig · 23/04/2018 13:52

Burntout I don't give a flying fuck if they are family members. You don't become a baying mob trying to storm into a hospital where there are children sick and terminally ill. No excuse whatsoever for that. I can JUST about accept Tom behaving erratically but even he has crossed lines. If those trying to storm the hospital are related, they should have been trying to help him, not encourage him.

Sparklingbells · 23/04/2018 13:53

Cannot believe what I have just seen on Twitter, people with proms and babes in arms trying to force their way into the hospital. What is wrong with people?

Sparklingbells · 23/04/2018 13:53

*prams

Lancelottie · 23/04/2018 13:54

My thoughts to you and your little boy, Haribo. I hope he's out and bouncing as soon as possible.

Weezol · 23/04/2018 13:55

In any other public order situations the order for riot gear would be made.
How much more can other families and staff be expected to take?

spicerack · 23/04/2018 13:55
