Anyone following this?

OP posts:
C4Envelope · 23/04/2018 13:19

The new Prince of Cambridge has been born

Burntout93 · 23/04/2018 13:19

An Ex UKIP mep is on their side - tweeting about how Alfie should allowed to go to Italy.

turnipfarmers · 23/04/2018 13:20

I hope they have stopped the live videos now?

GinSoakedItchyPony · 23/04/2018 13:20

Is he still tweeting Burnt ? He was involved a week or so ago and had gone quiet so I assumed he'd taken a step back.

Lockheart · 23/04/2018 13:20

If he’s not careful TE will get himself arrested and forcibly removed Sad it’s already a devastating situation. Someone needs to talk some sense into him so he and Kate can spend their final moments with their son in peace and dignity.

MorningCuppa · 23/04/2018 13:21

This is a father in denial and who is so consumed by grief and heart break, it's distressing to witness, people do act irrational in situations like this, I do think that people will be arrested, it's out of control in there.

I hope all the other families and staff are ok, I can't imagine how they are all feeling too.

Heart breaking, poor Alfie, I hope he gets the peace and dignity he so deserves. There is no doubt he has been fighting.

TheDrinksAreOnMe · 23/04/2018 13:21

The new Prince of Cambridge has been born

according to alfies army its unjust :/

So sad these events coincide and it must sting but ffs.....

StylishMummy · 23/04/2018 13:21

TE's latest video shows police everywhere and TE still calling for more people to 'come down' to the hospital. The nurses/doctors present when the procedure takes place must be terrified

BlytheofWindyWillows · 23/04/2018 13:21

The whole situation is awful. I can only imagine how terrified the other children in PICU must be. I only hope that Alfie pass peacefully with those that love him although that looks to be impossible at the moment,

user1471450935 · 23/04/2018 13:22

I have been in this situation, agreed to brother's life support been turned off. That or vegetitive state for rest of his life.
I was 21. I still feel guilt 27 years later.
If ECHR have refused to hear case, is may be a very sad day.
Flowers to Alfie and his clearly loving loving parents
I have no words to say to you to comfort your loss, no one ever will
I can only send my deep love and empathy, from one who has experienced it, and hope you have people to hug and care for you in the next hours, days, weeks and years ahead. You will never truely recovery just survive and learn to put one foot in the front of the other. Time helps.
Nothing to add
Please take care of both of you. You love Alfie, he loves you. Take care
Flowers to anyone who this tragic case brings back memories.
I need to walk away, it is opening up a dark hole that I have carried for 27 years
Love to the Evan's family.
They are the only ones who will carry this with them for life.
Brew andCake for medics involved.
The rest of you don't judge harshly, grief makes people do things they would never normally do. I explained my family on page 14

CocoaGin · 23/04/2018 13:23

Shame on each and every one of them for behaving like that in a hospital. Mob rule won't change this.

TheCraicDealer · 23/04/2018 13:23

This whole scenario is disgusting. Suggesting they set off a fire alarm? Arming themselves? Tweeting Peter Andre? And that's before you get to the live footage. People have given TE a lot of leeway and sympathy but this circus just wrong. If he and his family continue this it just shows how much respect they actually have for Alfie's dignity and last moments. They're not doing anyone a service by doing this, they're not unearthing a wrong or injustice by showcasing the end of his life. In two weeks most of AA will have moved on to something else, and all they'll have done is traded their son's privacy for a likes and useless or potentially harmful suggestions.

What is telling is the lack of coverage papers like the DM have given this the whole way through the case. Although today there are other stories making the headlines, the level of attention this case has received compared CG is striking. I wonder if that was deliberate.

SunnySkiesSleepsintheMorning · 23/04/2018 13:25

What an incredibly painful and heart wrenching situation for all involved. TE sounds like he’s has zero sleep and he’s absolutely beside himself with grief and pain. It’s incredibly heart wrenching because he’s so desperate to save his boy.

EB123 · 23/04/2018 13:25

The two live videos from the last 20 minutes are disgraceful. I hope Kate is in with Alfie and the room is calm. I hope those causing distrubances are removed for the sake of the other patients and staff.

IronicWitttUsername · 23/04/2018 13:26

I think the media is giving much more attention to the royal family, if it wasn't for that they would be at hosp

backaftera2yearbreak · 23/04/2018 13:27

My thoughts are with Alfie and his family in the last moments of his life.

GloGirl · 23/04/2018 13:28

There's a post from TE 20 minutes ago of him cuddling Alfie, he's still posting for the army but I am glad he is by Alfies bedside. I hope he can keep calm and remain there.

MyPuppyIsADick · 23/04/2018 13:28

Behaving like that in a chidren's hospital is beyond scummy and disgusting.

Trampire · 23/04/2018 13:28

I was thinking similar. Most main news outlets haven't touched it in the main. Also, nothing ever trended on Twitter. I know it's a blunt instrument to measure but I think it smacks of how much in a 'bubble' the commentary on this is.

SunnySkiesSleepsintheMorning · 23/04/2018 13:28

It must feel like a kick in the ribs to see the birth of a Royal baby all over the news when their baby’s life will end today.

Trampire · 23/04/2018 13:29

Sorry tried to do the bold quote thing and failed.

Pinkandpurplehairedlady · 23/04/2018 13:29

Whatever the rights and wrong of the situation a family is about to lose their son. My heart goes out to them,

CocoaGin · 23/04/2018 13:29

I think it's very good that the media aren't giving the family more exposure. There was a lot more interest in the Gard case.

ShatnersWig · 23/04/2018 13:30

Sunny I would assume they've got better things to do than watch the news today.

IronicWitttUsername · 23/04/2018 13:31

Sending love peace and calmness to the family and to Alfie. X
