I could bore you with a huge back catalogue of all the titish things our neighbours have said/done/complained about over the years but I'll spare you the tedium.

What I'd like to know is how much this would annoy you.....

Every evening mr tit goes out and comes back home between around 10.30-11pm.
He pulls up on the drive (our driveways adjoin) and beeps his horn in order for Mrs tit to come out and open the garage for him.

He only beeps once but we live on an incredibly quiet road so it feels very loud and intrusive at that time of night.

My DH and I used to just give each other the look whenever it happened but now it's become such a nightly ritual that it enrages me so much that I've lost all perspective of things.

I have 3 small children at home and this beeping hasn't woken them up so I guess you could ask what my problem is. It just seems like a wholly obnoxious and inconsiderate thing to do, or AIBU?!

Get a air horn.
Wait an hour or so after they've gone to bed.
Turn off your house lights.
Sneak over and lift letterbox flap.
Point horn through it and give a blast.
Leg it back into your house, get inside, lock door and giggle like a schoolgirl.

A complete tit. That would enrage me!

That might describe me. Having kids doesnt make you considerate and not having them doesnt make you selfish. Some of us manage to be considerate with no kids.

BTW - isnt there a law about when you can use your horn?

And to top it all off on weekday mornings Mr Bigger Tit used to come and pick him up for work at half five and beep his horn three times.

Messrs Tit and Bigger Tit appear to be alive and well and living in Sussex. They work in the window-fitting business for a well-known double glazing company.

Sadly, their life expectancy is shortening. One of these mornings, I'm going to run down the street and kill the pair of cunts.

I'd plead guilty to manslaughter and the mitigation of diminished responsibility caused by levels of sleep deprivation that breach the Geneva Convention would get me off with just probation.

According to the rules of the road, if the vehicle is stationary, they shouldn't be sounding their horn or if it is between the hours of 11:30pm to 7am.
So they may be ok on the second bit but if whichever of them is driving comes to a complete stop, they aren't on the first bit!

I thought this thread was going to be based around bird tables and feeding birds...how wrong I was!

FFS!!!! I'm a dolt. I didn't spot the date when the OP posted their thread. Backdated to 2018 - I do hope that the beeping horn is sorted by now though.
