To think this delusional dirty pervert should stay exactly where he is and starve if that's what he wants?

There is currently a delightful person on hunger strike because the prison service won't "recognise their gender" and send them to a women's prison.

see here

Nobody seems to want to mention the fact that they are in fact a sex offender and voyeur who broke into teenage girls bedrooms to wank into their underwear Hmm

Why the hell they think they should be in a women's prison is completely beyond me. Anyone able to enlighten me?

Props if they keep their dicks they can call themselves gender fluid when it suits them.

And in this perverts case he can wank into little girls knickers! 😡

Datun · 28/01/2018 19:27

If you want to discriminate based on genitals then use the sex terms male and female. Man and woman are gender terms and can be fluid.

Good grief.

Female is the collective term for humans who can/will bear eggs.

Woman is the adult version, girl is the child version. Two versions of the SAME word, making a distinction between maturity.

'Woman' is not a description of ANYTHING ELSE.

rowdywoman1 · 28/01/2018 19:33

"Actual woman" is transphobic ???

Grin Grin Grin

ArcheryAnnie · 28/01/2018 19:35

I'm totally fine with whatever this sex offender does, as long as he does it by himself, in a male prison.

(Fucking Guardian. I'm just waiting for the totes symapthetic Pink News piece on this asshole, now.)

nauticant · 28/01/2018 20:37

www.pinknews.co.uk/2018/01/27/trans-prisoner-goes-on-hunger-strike-after-being-placed-in-a-mens-prison/

Have a guess how informative it is.

The more this stuff is put in front of your average woman or bloke, the more voices are being raised saying "there's something wrong here".

I was out last night telling a group of people about what trans rights activists believe. Unfortunately they didn't seem to comprehend any of it. I'll get back to them with tales of this guy.

ArcheryAnnie · 28/01/2018 22:54

Hmm, a lot of the Pink News comments are actually quite encouraging, at least compared to the usual nonsense. Quite heartening.

newtlover · 28/01/2018 22:58

hmm, that photo looks nothing like the other photos of him, but since they seem to think HMP Preston is in Lancaster nothing there is credible.

Newt i guess that photo was taken when he was released on license before he did whatever he did to break his terms (which nobody seems to be reporting) and was recalled back to prison.

The Independent reporting is also silent on the nature of the crimes committed (and the victims of his crimes, and the potential threat that he would pose to women in a women's prison)

Angry
KindDogsTail · 29/01/2018 09:50

Can anyone tell me where to find the real facts of his/her crimes? Not that I don't believe the other posters here, but I wonder how you know?
(I have not rtft, so sorry of someone has already said where.)
It is annoying the ordinary papers seem to be self-censored about this.

In my opinion he should not be put in an ordinary mens' prison, and absolutely not in a women's, but there should isolated "trans" sections of prisons for people like him/her.

sinceyouask · 29/01/2018 09:57

Gosh, op, what a lovely person you are. Your is exactly the sound, thoughtful, humane argument that will win me over Hmm.

Datun · 29/01/2018 10:00

sinceyouask

Kindnest, thoughtfulness and humanity are not an appropriate response, if you haven't actually read the thread.

Read the thread, read his crimes, link above. Then come back and see if you feel the same.

ArcheryAnnie · 29/01/2018 10:01

KindDogsTale there's a link in the OP's first post, here

Why shouldn't he be in an ordinary men's prison? They have facilities for all kinds of male prisoners, including sex offenders like him, and gender nonconforming men, who may be targetted by the general male prison population.

ArcheryAnnie · 29/01/2018 10:02

sinceyouask where's your kindness and humanity for the teenage girls he traumatised, for the children whose abuse he wanked over, and for the women in prison who he wants to be shut up with?

sinceyouask · 29/01/2018 10:07

Why do people like you always assume that if someone disagrees with you, it's because they are ignorant? I've read the thread, and the articles, and many others about this case. It's perfectly possible to disagree with the wants of the prisoner without descending to this level.

Oh, Annie, what a boringly predictable response. Human rights only apply when you approve of the human, eh?

I really need to learn to avoid these ridiculous threads. Mumsnet at it's most embarrassing.

Datun · 29/01/2018 10:08

sinceyouask

What human rights are you referring to? Come on, use your words.

Show me the human rights legislation that says a convicted sex offender should be housed with women?

AreYouOrHaveYouEverBeenATERF · 29/01/2018 10:15

I knew there'd be someone who'd be up for housing a male sex offender in a women's prison - because he feels like a woman, and wants hair straighteners and stuff Hmm

This is the madness that is the transactivist movement.

CapnHaddock · 29/01/2018 10:16

What's 'embarrassing' about women thinking a man who has sexually abused women should be housed in a separate prison from them?

Eltonjohnssyrup · 29/01/2018 10:28

Human rights only apply when you approve of the human, eh?

One of the most important human rights is that when you are incarcerated you are only given the punishment for which you are sentenced.

This person is doing exactly that. They are imprisoned and are serving their sentence.

However if sex offending TIMS are moved to the female estate, women prisoners in many cases will be effectively having the extra judicial punishment of being raped added to their sentence.

And if TIM prisoners rape a female prisoner how would you punish them exactly? By putting them back into a female prison with more easy pickings? When exactly will you start realising that maybe it's not actually any sort of punishment or deterrent but actually an incentive?

Scabbersley · 29/01/2018 10:54

sinceyouask you need to take a long hard look at yourself
