I haven't read the full thread so I'm not sure if this has been asked but to all the cuddly sleepers- what do you do with your bottom/spare arm? If you face each other or are the big spoon where does it go? Surely not underneath as then it's uncomfortable and goes numb. Do you tuck it awkwardly away somewhere? I've never worked out how to do it comfortably?

I'm amazed couples get as far as getting married if they differ on this.... I hate it, can't sleep with anyone touching me including children, why they never slept in my bed.

catbasilio · 26/01/2018 10:41

So many of you hate cuddles Shock
I love my cuddles when awake and when asleep. It helps that I am always cold and my boyfriend warm and we balance each other out.

bonbonours · 26/01/2018 10:47

noballs actually literally crying with laughter at ATM 😂😂😂😂😂

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 26/01/2018 10:59

I used to hate being cuddled at night likes my own space actually never really got used to sharing my bed with anyone and I was married before.
Now dh and I fall asleep all legs tangled together and cuddling I can even sleep with him facing me and breathing Shock if we stir in the night and aren’t cuddling anymore dh will pull me back in again it’s lovely. We are very cute Grin

Luckily my husband and I share the same opinion.

Loooove cuddling. But can’t sleep like it.

So we cuddle until one of us starts drifting off and then kiss goodnight and (very romantically) turn our backs on each other.

DameGlitterSparkles · 26/01/2018 20:17

I NEED my space in bed or I can't sleep. Luckily he has the dog to cuddle 😂

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 26/01/2018 20:18

bonbonours - I hate it, can't sleep with anyone touching me including children, why they never slept in my bed. Me too! I thought I was the only meanie who didn't let my DCs into my bed. They're all clammy feet and boney elbows.

BigBaboonBum · 26/01/2018 20:18

Hate it. If somebody, who isn’t somebody I gave birth to, breathed in my face then I’d peobably get stabby

SargeantAngua · 26/01/2018 21:18

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks separate rooms is the way to peace and harmony. DP and I are very cuddly and tactile during the day but bed sharing just doesn't work. The one who's ready for bed second comes and gives the one who's already in bed a hug, maybe snuggle in, maybe chat about the day, maybe a back rub even, then it's blissful alone time until morning!

I get too hot, I'm wriggle like crazy, and I have ME so a sleepless night makes me even more zombified than normal.

catwoozle · 26/01/2018 21:21

Cuddly not sleeping. It's nice and romantic, like, for one night, but then in the long term you need proper sleep.

What I can't stand is someone breathing on me.

gingergenius · 26/01/2018 21:30

So glad I'm alone. I hate sharing my bed space. Only person I allow a duffle is my pooch but that's only because if i tell her to get off she leaves me alone and doesn't get offended!

silkpyjamasallday · 26/01/2018 23:24

Loathe it with a passion. Happy to cuddle when awake but I like my own space for actual sleep. DP is away tonight but I have a poorly DD in bed with me instead, snuggling up and rubbing snot on me periodically. Her snuggles are tolerable, the snot less so.
