Bill Oddie SCOWLED at me with such intensity that i was terrified. 2 Decades ago, Hampstead High Street, I didn't recognise him and thought I knew him and said 'hi' and the look he gave me would have soured milk.

Anna Friel in windsor years ago, very nice when my 18 month old tried to reach over and eat some of her lunch! she was with david thewless but I didn't know who he was til later.

Bruce Forsyth - thinks he’s above everyone. Refused to talk to waitresses in a posh golf club restaurant (would only talk to the male host)

Johnny Vegas - only saw him in town, was just giving everyone the evil eye. Must have been a bad day.

listsandbudgets · 18/01/2018 20:15

David Cameron....'nuff said!!

Estellanpip · 18/01/2018 20:15

Through friends, some of the MIC cast and Eastenders. I was shocked to discover that several went halves on 'kiss and tell' stories which were prearranged.
Loved Johnny Vegas. Charles Spencer asked me about my work and was lovely.
I was quite disappointed by Johnny Depp.
Amy Winehouse was the warmest most endearing lady ever, asking after the children. I was heartbroken to hear she'd gone.
I'm always disappointed when Vic Reeves gets named as one of the worst on these lists, I bloody love him!
Made up to see that Rik Mayall was always lovely 😊

Figgygal · 18/01/2018 20:16

Damian Lewis
Handsome and charming and happy to chat and play drunken piano

listsandbudgets · 18/01/2018 20:16

Oh and Tony Blair once bought me a drink and told me he'd be prime minister one day!! That was in 1995 - should have believed him shouldnt' I?

CharizMa · 18/01/2018 20:16

Kitkasky, my mum did that to Helen Baxendale in Kenwood house in Richmond park! Strode up to her like she (Helen) was one of my friends, I had to drag her away.

Derren Brown. He was absolutely charming and very lovely (though possibly mind controlled me into thinking this? 😂)

Teddy1970 · 18/01/2018 20:17

notso It was well known in the aviation industry that Cilla was a complete cow...she used to speak to the cabin crew through her PA or husband (never directly) because she thought we were all beneath her.

Meowstro · 18/01/2018 20:21

He's not properly famous but well known I guess, Stephen Mulhern. He's so up his own arse it's unreal.

@kitkatsky Really?? Shock What did she do/say?

BonnieF · 18/01/2018 20:21

As a party activist in a key marginal seat, I met many senior New Labour politicians, including Tony Blair (before he became PM).

Mandelson could be difficult, but the rest of them were fine. Blair was self-deprecating and funny, Blunkett was charming, Prescott was a right laugh, and always very rude about the Tories.

JulyAphrodite · 18/01/2018 20:22

Kate Winslett not so nice had my friend removed from an RAF ball when with DH number 1

LuluJakey1 · 18/01/2018 20:25

MIL has met a number through 2 charities she and FIL are very involved in. Says Sarah Lancashire and Chris Evans are lovely- really have time for people, listen are kind and funny and self-deprecating, also Cliff Richards (but not met him for years now). David Attenborough is amazing - she loves him. Chris Packham very nice.
Cilla Black was a sour diva. Duchess of Cornwall lovely and funny, Duchess of Northumberland snotty.

I have met some politicians if they count. Ed Milliband was very down to earth, funny and nice, David was arrogant. Gordon Brown was very nice and a good listener. Peter Mandelson was a really cold fish- didn't like him at all. Tony Blair was very clever and nice but 'slippery'. Cherie was gushing.

WallisFrizz · 18/01/2018 20:25

Met Jamelia about 10 years ago, she was vile as was her then boyfriend/husband.
