To ask for shit holiday suggestions?

Ok, I was probably over exaggerating (a little)

We need to take FIL away on hols. It needs to be sunny, short haul and somewhere very "Brits abroad" but not horrific as we have a 1 year old.

I thought costa brava might have nailed it but looking into it is that the nice costa? Do I need costa Blanca instead?

I enjoyed Gibraltar but I'm a history nerd. Only two beaches, one a hotel one and one attached to military accommodation. I found it very difficult to eat out as a vegetarian also.

My post wasn't meant to be snobby at all, I'm not rich or looking for something exclusive. I just hate what he loves which is English pubs themed on TV shows (I hate pubs in England never mind in Spain! I'm more a tea and cake kinda woman but anyway ...) football, beer, nights out, fish and chips, English breakfast and "banter"..
