OK so I come home from taking the kids to school and when I arrive home someone is parked in my space. Not just anyone but the little black car that had 3 students in it I had seen driving in on my way out. Now normally student park in our residents only visitors bay which is annoying enough but this time they have parked in my privately owned and numbered parking space. So I cannot use it!

The council won’t do anything the police won’t do anything and even the college won’t do anything!

I honestly can’t believe the lack of rights people have on their own properties! This car is going to be in my space for at least 6 hours!

Why can’t there be some new system where people can call and report vehicles to be towed from their property at a smallish fee and then the owners of said cars have to pay the remaining fee to retrieve their cars?

Mph. What should be done is private parking spaces be abolished, except when people have a mobility problem which means they actually need a car.
Private car ownership seems to turn most people into dicks.

There are several things you can do; keying, sugar in the fuel tank, parking behind the car and blocking them in and closing off the road, nails/tacks behind the back tires, breaking a window and chucking a molotov cocktail in, or just wait for the offenders to return and then give them a piece of your mind. The latter suggestion is probably the one I would go with, but the others are fun to think about.

OP, how far is school from your home? If less than a mile, then if you walk to and from school with them, car stays put. No space for students or anyone else.

READ THE FULL THREAD PEOPLE. Grin

LapdanceShoeshine · 11/01/2018 22:26

That won't help Grin

They're reading the OP/first page only

They'll get the hang of it one day (but by then there'll be more noobs to get it wrong)

PositivelyPERF · 11/01/2018 22:38

Grin Even the OP has left the thread. She's probably gathering up dog poo to put under the handle of the next CFP.

caringcarer · 11/01/2018 22:47

Could you let the air out of one of their tyres? It is not permanent damage just a way to make them not want to park there again.

Iminthetiredmumsclub · 12/01/2018 12:34

BiscuitBee · 13/01/2018 00:01

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 13/01/2018 00:06

She'll be too busy recalibrating the milkshake machine to be cancelling cheques and scooping up random dog turd
