We need new passports so that’ll be about £200.

we paid about £1500 last year for a cycling holiday in the Netherlands (2 weeks, 2 adults +2 DC). we went in high season (August).

Talkingfrog · 06/01/2018 16:32

£700 for a barn conversion near Carmarthen, s Wales. 4 people for 1 week mid August.
Stayed for a long weekend at the end of half herm and rebooked for the summer when we got home. Had a discount for booking before the end of November. Even better is less than two hours drive.

Since dd started school and we have gone in August we have paid around £600ish for 4 people in Devon and Norfolk self catering, but vastly different size properties.

Agnesmay · 06/01/2018 16:35

We are going to St Lucia the last week in July for two weeks. This has cost £7200, two adults two children.
I only booked it 2 days ago and still feel a bit sick when I think of the price. We have never paid this much for a holiday although I did shop around for a price and got it at least £1000 cheaper than I had found before.
Also going to turkey for a week in may half term this cost about £2000 and we got a free child place.
There is still free child places available on the first choice website for the summer holiday just google first choice free child place finder and use the filters to get the dates and airport etc you want

Week in Kefalonia, £800 for flights (2 adults, 2 kids) and £1,400 for a villa with pool. Going early July though (kids at private school so break up early) so probably bit cheaper than Aug prices.

MaryWortleyMontagu · 06/01/2018 18:15

Also doing a roadtrip via Europe. Havent priced it yet. We did it in 2014 and it was about £1500 accommodation and diesel, expect it will be more this year, but I will be checking accommodation through budget sites

fairgame84 · 06/01/2018 18:59

@MsGameandWatching

It's the Protur Roquestas De Mar. We went with Thomson in 2015 and loved it. We are going with First Choice this time but they are the same company anyway, I just got more money back with First Choice through Topcashback.

Tinkerbec · 06/01/2018 19:02

£700 4 nights in Hungary. Two adults and a child.

Shakey15000 · 06/01/2018 19:05

School holidays, 3 adults, 1 child flights to Corfu around £800 total. Add airport parking. Also add hotel room and breakfast cost if we get charged as they're friends another £700. Food and drink on top is incalculable, depending on how many tequilas I have Smile

lou1221 · 06/01/2018 19:06
