To make my bf wait hours for his blind date

Ok so I've not been on here for years ...... but I'm raging. My bf has been behaving suspiciously so I checked online and right enough the wanker has a POF profile!

So I catfished him and we're meeting today at 12:30 ..... well he thinks we are ... I'm not turning up. Want to see how long I can make him wait!

If you're in Swindon feel free to give him a wave!!

Am I being unreasonable to make him wait a couple of hours. Will I be able to drag it out that long .....

I think you should confront him. Clearly from your expectations you guys are exclusive - I guess there's no chance he thinks you're both allowed to casually date other people?. It hasn't been that long and hopefully wouldn't be too too painful to just show up and show him the thread - and he badly needs to find out so he doesn't go off thinking you're the unreasonable one!

Carbohol if you are a total novice at something, it's often better to observe for a while before you pile in and start accusing people of things. Watch all the other troll hunters and the resultant argy bargy and read for a while before wading in. Also, read the MN posting guidelines!

Always remember that MN is an open forum. The implication wasn't that the OP is a journo, rather that The Dail Fail regularly pick up on threads and write about them on their website, quoting usernames. It's cheap content for papers to trawl other sites for 'interesting' stories. If you don't want that to happen, be careful what you post.

There are loads of trolls here. If you suspect someone isn't genuine, click 'report post' and MNHQ will check it out.

If I were thinking of winding up a boyfriend who I'd just found out was cheating, I would absolutely think of that thread.

Surely the fact that I thought of it immediately on seeing this thread shows that some people do make that kind of connection in their brain, even if you wouldn't.

And also - was Shiney and the penguin REALLY 9 years ago?? Fuck! I remember that. I also remember going to Bourton on the Water not long afterwards with DH and DS1 and going to see the penguins, sniggering quietly to myself the whole time. DH thought I was mad! Grin
