To make my bf wait hours for his blind date

RedTartanLass · 04/01/2018 12:17

Ok so I've not been on here for years ...... but I'm raging. My bf has been behaving suspiciously so I checked online and right enough the wanker has a POF profile!

So I catfished him and we're meeting today at 12:30 ..... well he thinks we are ... I'm not turning up. Want to see how long I can make him wait!

If you're in Swindon feel free to give him a wave!!

Am I being unreasonable to make him wait a couple of hours. Will I be able to drag it out that long .....

Oh I love this (Not the lying cheating bastard but the catfish) I would never admit it was me though! Much more fun!!

crackerjacket · 04/01/2018 14:59

He's been to town but not going to gym until 5pm.

^

Aye

Namechangetempissue · 04/01/2018 15:00

He is digging himself the most enormous hole. What an absolute dickhead.
Well done on your level headed ways OP. He deserves the most spectacular, embarrassing dumping ever and I hope you give it to him Flowers

CandleLit · 04/01/2018 15:01

Just bear in mind that if he does know it is you, this could be a double bluff. I don't think he knows but worth going forth as if he does.

RebeccaBunch · 04/01/2018 15:02

I couldn't resist letting him know it was me, and letting him know that he was a fool.

Ideally I'd wait for him to contact me, not reply for a bit, then text him "congrats you're dumped man, and I'm off for a Costa in Swindon" or something like that.

You are brilliant OP - big loss for this jerk.

ohfourfoxache · 04/01/2018 15:02

What a fucking scumbag Shock

GeekyWombat · 04/01/2018 15:03

Could he have been trying to check if it was you? Ie if you'd answered and starting screaming at him down the phone he'd have known he was rumbled.

RebeccaBunch · 04/01/2018 15:03

not going to gym until 5pm.
or he might have another "coffee date"

TeeBee · 04/01/2018 15:04

Oh, if you contact him and ask about the gym, he will know it was you. Just wait for him to contact you and reply breezily that you are busy and can't meet him. String him along for a bit and then tell him you've met someone more suited to you...someone who is a bit more sexually compatible.

Mummyoflittledragon · 04/01/2018 15:05

You have handled this beautifully. At least you know he’s a lying scumbag and no longer succumb to his sickly charm. Envy. Vom

RedTartanLass · 04/01/2018 15:05

I don't care if he suspects it's me or not. Coz I will never set eyes on him again! I'm still in shock at his tirade of how wonderful I am .... when he'd just spent the last hour waiting for another woman!

Seriously how can I trust anyone ever again! Bad enough to be lied to for 18 years by my ex, just thought he was a one off bad person.

Completely shocked. Although will not be speaking to him ever again!!

hereward1332 genius, really genius.Smile

Then I got distracted by googling wjataops ....

p.s. enquiring minds would like to know whether he got you that cappuchino and then drank it, or was just waiting fo4 you to turn up.

gingergenius · 04/01/2018 15:08

I think he's creating a cover story as he suspects he may have been catfished

gingergenius · 04/01/2018 15:10

So so sorry op. X

Justbreathing · 04/01/2018 15:12

not all men are like this. I promise

RedTartanLass · 04/01/2018 15:12

@FinallyHere from the texts it sounds like he just waited outside. In the cold. In the rain. In the wind. For an hour. Shame!

Seriously I don't need the drama of a big dump. I had the drama and trauma separating from my ex. So I'll just let this "romance" slide ... into oblivion!!

Newrules · 04/01/2018 15:12

This has made me smile but isn't it shocking how easily people can lie and normally you would have been completely taken in by that conversation.

CorbynsBumFlannel · 04/01/2018 15:14

You just need to find a way to dump him in the most horrible way possible. I wouldn't even let him think that his cheating was the reason. Make it something he's paranoid about be that his appearance, earning, age, baldness etc. Be ever so nice about it and reassure that you're sure there's someone out there who will appreciate him just the way he is!

CorbynsBumFlannel · 04/01/2018 15:14

Sorry x posted with last message

Mitzimaybe · 04/01/2018 15:14

OP well done on how you have handled it. There are a lot of cheating slimebags out there but there are good men too. Kissing lots of frogs to find the prince kind of thing. Don't despair!

RedTartanLass · 04/01/2018 15:15

Omfg the drama of a big dump

Hahahahah please say you knew what I was actually trying to say!!
