To have only just realised I could be pregnant

Posting for traffic. Name says it all.

DP and I have only DTD once since DS was born, about 2 months ago due to combination of him working away and cosleeping making it difficult. We didnt use protection as I'm EBF and it was kind of a 'fuck it' moment.

Last two days have had awful gas, bloating and weird metallic taste in my mouth. Was burping endlessly in the car and DP said 'haha wow the only time I've seen you this bad is when you were pregnant'. It was just a passing comment but thinking about it I do feel exactly as I did a year ago when in first trimester.

Oh God I'm pregnant aren't I?! I need to take a test but it's 1am and I'm panicking. 5mo is asleep next to me.

Don't even know what I'd do. I'd love another baby but how the hell would we cope with a just 1 year old and a newborn? Oh lordy.

Nowhere did OP say she was getting in the car right now. If you want to trollhunt, at least be upfront about it. Or just follow guidelines and report it.

Even if it's all bollocks, who cares?! "I might have got pregnant accidentally whilst baby is young" is hardly triggering stuff, is it? If nothing else, it's quite reassuring, as a aren't with a small gap, to hear from others with even smaller ones who have survived.

honeysucklejasmine · 31/12/2017 08:12

*as a parent with a small gap

TheEagle · 31/12/2017 08:14

Agree with honeysuckle, if you’re suspicious of the thread just report it.

How is clicking a button and pressing "report" more upfront than making sarcastic comments all over the thread? You don't have to announce you've reported, you know.

Have you not tested yet OP? Just drive and get the test then you’ll know either way

honeysucklejasmine · 31/12/2017 10:17

Are you ok, Battleax? head tilt

TeaAndPjs · 31/12/2017 10:44

Shamelessly placemarking for an update

Hope you get the result you want

CheapSausagesAndSpam · 31/12/2017 10:57

Oh that head tilt shite just annoys everyone. It sounds stupid.

OP's probably forgotten all about this thread.

MrsMotherHen · 31/12/2017 11:01

Shamless placemark........

How did you get on OP

NameChangeSoSisCantFindMeAhhhh · 31/12/2017 11:05

Sorry really not trying to be goady or piss everyone off! I was asleep!

When I meant I was driving to ASDA I didn't mean at 1am, I meant today. I'm off now so I should know in a couple of hours.

I want to say wish me luck but I really don't know which result I want.

And honeysuckle you're v correct it's reassured me a hell of a lot to hear from people with young ones and small gaps between.

Good luck OP

Drive safely x

Lweji · 31/12/2017 11:27

Surely you'll want to test in Asda, so that you can decide whether to buy more booze or not. Wink

thecatsarecrazy · 31/12/2017 11:36

Good luck op. I had to do a test a few weeks ago as i was 5 days late and thats unusual for me. I have 3 children and my dh is waiting to have snip. More children defiantly not for me! My first 2 have a 2 year gap and that was fine

MsWanaBanana · 31/12/2017 11:37

Good luck OP
