To have only just realised I could be pregnant

Posting for traffic. Name says it all.

DP and I have only DTD once since DS was born, about 2 months ago due to combination of him working away and cosleeping making it difficult. We didnt use protection as I'm EBF and it was kind of a 'fuck it' moment.

Last two days have had awful gas, bloating and weird metallic taste in my mouth. Was burping endlessly in the car and DP said 'haha wow the only time I've seen you this bad is when you were pregnant'. It was just a passing comment but thinking about it I do feel exactly as I did a year ago when in first trimester.

Oh God I'm pregnant aren't I?! I need to take a test but it's 1am and I'm panicking. 5mo is asleep next to me.

Don't even know what I'd do. I'd love another baby but how the hell would we cope with a just 1 year old and a newborn? Oh lordy.

17 months between me and my sister.
My mother says it was hard, but great to be able to have a shorter period of nappies.
We grew up very close.

My aunt found out she was pregnant again at her 6 week check

Happened to me too.

16 months between my two. They're 3 and 4 now & best friends. They do everything together and their love for each other is fierce and strong - it's so wonderful the first year was hell though

Oh lord. I wouldn’t be able to cope but I have a chronic pain condition.
DP is 13months younger than his brother and he said it was the best thing growing up as they were so close. His mum said that it was hard work but no harder really than the gap between the other 2 younger siblings!

Would you be happy if you were pregnant OP?

Good luck OP! Same thing happened to me...there is 1 year between DD1 and DD twins! It was really hard for a couple of years, but as they got older it got easier and better!

Large burps were exactly how I knew I was preganant with my second! You will cope fine x

I have grandchildren with 13 months between them Both boys and it's delightful you will be fine congratulations

Look on the bright side, if you are pregnant, you can have more 'fuck it' moments without worrying about the consequences

You may we be but, as others have said, it could be an unexpected blessing.

Good luck. A know of a lady who had a fuck it moment when her baby was a few months old. Turned out to be triplets.

I’d have left the country. But I suppose that doesn’t help if you’re the one carrying the babies 😂

There's only 11 months between my niece and nephew.

16 months (planned) between mine, they’re 9 and 10 now and it’s great. Good luck!

Only way to be sure is to do a test, as scary as that is!
