I think this is meant to reinforce trump’s assertion about how little bannon had to do with trump but really, does it not just add liability and culpability to the trumps?

Regarding the obsession with the dossier (both for and against), I think the right analogy is that the Steele dossier is to the Russia investigation what the Clinton Cash book is to the Clinton Foundation investigation.

FBI gets tips from public all the time. It decides if there's a criminal predicate and if so, looks into it. Question is whether tip was followed up on (or not) appropriately, To de-partisan your outrage, substitute dossier/Clinton Cash and see how it changes your analysis.

I'm not saying Clinton Cash and dossier are similar to one another in substance or merit or outcome, I'm saying they are two things with the same type of relationship to an FBI investigation.

Has it come to this?
