I'm with Shaub. There's no such thing as an NDA for Govt Employees. We are/were mandated to be transparent in all our dealings and no 'superior' would have been allowed to require an NDA as a condition of employment (or thereafter).

I expect they're might be acceptable before election because the candidate is still technically a 'private person', but not after the person takes office.
