Had a massage at reputable place. Been there lots before. 1/2 massage and she massages by chest for a small part of it. Say one minute or maybe less. Is this normal? I mean I guess it is part of my body, and a full body massage....? Would they do a man's chest?

Yeah, I've had this during a facial. They massage your front and the top bit of your shoulders.

Reminds me of Friends though when it turns our Joey has been fondled for years by his tailor "...that's how they measure pants..."

My partner is a fitness fanatic and he has regular massages, however it was only the most recent one that any masseuse has asked to massage his chest. When he asked what the benefits were, she explained that tight chest muscles can draw the shoulders forward and create a hunch in the shoulders which affects the back. His one was only a few minutes long too so I shouldn't worry!

@fannyanddick yup full area. Not for long though. Bum cheeks got massaged too. Basically all massages were similar. Some we had at beach huts, some where we walked into a spa off the street and some in a 5* hotel. All very business like though. They didn't half sort out my shoulders and neck too.

Lol, did I say I was traumatised? Surprised, yes. But actually it was quite jolly once I got over the shock.

I’m a massage therapist - don’t do the boobs but definitely front upper part of chest & shoulders.
If you think about it most of us hunch over a computer so I need to correct round shoulders.
Interesting to think about the culture of massage around the world though. I get sore boobs with pmt & actually would probably benefit from a non sexual massage there but would be too prudish to have this done

I know this is a super old thread but so pleased i found it after having to google my experience - I've literally just had a massage in a foreign country, don't want to say where just in case but am in a 4 star hotel with a spa - when i was on my back same thing happened. I was feeling a bit unsure how I felt about it as nothing was said at the time but reading this I think I feel better and like it was 'normal'. I am so British that of course I said nothing at the time even though i wasn't 100% comfortable with it but there was clearly nothing sexual about it, it's just unusual!!!

I've had a full body massage in Morocco that included everything but my genitals. It was a couples massage actually, and my husband was two feet away, with genitals likewise excluded.

It was great, lasted over two hours, not sexual at all.

this was definitely the most 'full body' massage i've had! I'm pleased it seems more normal over seas though so I feel ok about it, it's a proper luxury spa as well!
