Anyone remember the Flexi-time CF?

Thought I'd heard the last of her but unfortunately not. Colleague who left her job due to cheeky fuckery with her flexi-time for those of you who missed the first instalment.

I'm moving between fuming, embarrassed and incredulous at the moment. I've also laughed but I think that's shock more than anything Smile
DH and I were out for the afternoon at a Christmas market. Had a lovely day and stopped at an coffee shop with tables outside before coming home.
We'd been there about 10 minutes when I noticed a group of ladies in their 60's a few tables away and one of them was staring straight at me. I didn't recognise her and carried on with chatting with DH. I noticed her again when all her friends started turning round to have a look. I didn't know any of them.
I'm starting to think she may be someone I'd been in contact with in a work capacity as she is looking quite angry. As I said in the original thread I work with children/families and I have been approached by people previously who have been angry and upset. Only a couple of times though.
I continue to ignore it and we're getting ready to leave. DH goes inside to pay and use the loo and the minute he does this lady gets up and comes over, with her takeaway coffee cup in her hand. I can tell by her face it's not going to be a pleasant chat.
She asks if I'm pleased with myself and I say "I'm sorry, I don't know who you are". She says she's FTCF's mother and who do I think I am to refuse her daughter a reference! Do I realise I've ruined her career and I should be ashamed of myself. Everyone is looking now and I don't want to get into it so I just say she really doesn't have all the information.
She then takes the lid off her coffee and empties it into my fucking handbag on the table and walks off!!!!
I'm absolutely gobsmacked Shock
I'm home now and want to call FTCF and give her a mouthful but DH is trying to talk me out of it.
Maybe I should just have a large G&T Gin

I've just re-read Mommy posts and they read differently. The first appeared (now deleted) slightly younger in it's usage of language and tone, switching subsequently to a more measured and mature tone before switching back again.

I wonder did Mommy have her coffee drinking Mommy or wedding ring wearing husband help her write some of her replies?

hellsbellsmelons · 12/12/2017 09:35

Wow - I've just seen this.
Pure gold!

Fourmagpies · 12/12/2017 09:38

Well, that took an unexpected turn! Hilarious. It amazes me that some people really can't see how much of a CF they're being.

Restlessandwild · 12/12/2017 09:39

Took me awhile to catch to read both FT but it was so worth it! Wish I'd seen the original earlier: can't believe how many people thought turning a blind eye to the CF's behaviour was the right thing to do 😡! I am with you all the way OP and admiring your restraint i.e. not tipping back your bag over the crazy CF Mum's head 👜. Can't wait to see what new contributions to the English language Mommy will come up with Grin!

Restlessandwild · 12/12/2017 09:42

Correcting myself, sorry "catch up to reading both FT"

SchadenfreudePersonified · 12/12/2017 09:54

Am I the only one wondering about FTCF's mother's Bridge Club?

Were they playing Bridge? Or was it held under a Bridge?

Only wondering . . . .

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 12/12/2017 09:55

I decided that CF's mother should henceforth be referred to as CF2.

In her case CF stands for Coffee Flinger

FairfaxAikman · 12/12/2017 10:00

Breakfast CFCF, or CFSquared if you will?

SchadenfreudePersonified · 12/12/2017 10:03

this is mumsnet. Not sarcastic net.

How little you know . . .

Morphene · 12/12/2017 10:04

Just awesome!

DooRight · 12/12/2017 10:05

Placemark Fling Coffee? me? never

ForgivenessIsDivine · 12/12/2017 10:06

Just caught up... Would make a fabulous episode of Keeping up Appearances.. Hyacinth hosting bridge club and then denying coffee spilling whilst perhaps also flirting with the 14 year old police officers..

TheMamaYo · 12/12/2017 10:07

Hope you're not in trouble at work OP? That was a hard judgement call, tonpass it on or not when it happened. Are they ok with that?

SchadenfreudePersonified · 12/12/2017 10:07

it corrected pisses to posses

Be fair Bearhug, It might have thought that you had been recruited as a Wild West Sheriff and were organising the round-up of dome baddies. Grin

LisaMed1 · 12/12/2017 10:07

My autocorrect changes 'duck' to 'fuck'. I may need to change my texting style.

I've never read anything like the remaining 'mommy' posts. It's the howl of the entitled who have been denied. OP - hope all goes well today at work.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 12/12/2017 10:09

Mine doesn’t like fuck either. It’s always duck

Same with mine - and yet I rarely, if ever, post about ducks whereas I type "fuck" quite a lot

HotelEuphoria · 12/12/2017 10:23

Boooooo. I have just checked in and find last night was fun without me, but now all mommy's posts have been deleted.

I feel like I missed out.

Cantuccit · 12/12/2017 10:27

No one minds the odd spelling/grammar mistake here. Dont worry 😂😂now that's sarcasm

I don't think you know what sarcasm is Mommy

People would have more respect if you just said you're bad at spelling rather than blame it on predictive text.

Predictive text would not change 'sentence' to 'sentace', 'instigator' to 'instigater' and 'needn't' to 'needent'.

You're not smarter than a computer.

RebeccaBunch · 12/12/2017 10:31

"Oh, and she was hosting her bridge club when they went round"

MN quote of the month - so funny Grin Grin Grin Grin

Traffig · 12/12/2017 10:39
Grin OP I hope that you are ok as can be. (I have a coffee hangover.) You did right to speak to the police.

Seriously unravelled CFCF Bridge combo there as per MikeysSister. And a defo from me re NaiceBiscuits Kaupman Triangle analysis. I'm of a mind they were the real deal given the now deleted posts.

Impressed at the thermos handbag inventions overnight, could be Mumsnet's answer to the bitcoin. My advice is BUY.

Willow2017 · 12/12/2017 10:52

God it must be such hard work to blame everyone else for your own cock ups! Or to defend the indefensible. Couldn't be arsed with it all.

Mn sure brings out the batshityness in people. Is it a full moon?

LemonBreeland · 12/12/2017 10:58

Wow just read this thread. I'm so glad you reported it to the Police OP. They absolutely should not be allowed to get away with behaviour like this.

woofmiaowwoof · 12/12/2017 11:05

i agree mrskoala the amazing thing about the CF and CF2 is that they honestly didn't think they were doing anything wrong with the at work skiving and were prepared to defend themselves to the hilt.

Agree, it must be weird being part of an alternate reality where you're paid to mumsnet!

ImpeachTheOrangeGibbon · 12/12/2017 11:18

The thing that stuck in my mind (from the original post about cheatytime.. sorry, flexi time) was that the CF left HER work to take her husbands wedding ring to him at HIS work.

Presumably his work was more important/ less open to cheating so he wouldn't leave to get the precious ring, but CF deemed is acceptable to skive off for an hour from HER work so her DH didn't have to be without his wedding ring for a couple of hours?

Beggars belief.

DooRight · 12/12/2017 11:31

it appears that he repeatedly left home without his wedding ring...... - just saying...
