Dershowitz has been a plonker for as long as I can remember him... I came to loathe Dwitz during the OJ Simpson trial & have yet to change opinion.

lijkk - for some reason, at the back of my mind, I had Dershowitz down as a "good" (for some variety of good) guy. I can't think why, I'd forgotten about the O J Simpson trial.
I was just off to find the Brexit thread, thank you for the link - I'm one of those who find parallels between Trump's crap and Brexit and am hoping (possibly against hope) that if Brexit founders, eventually, then so will Trump.

How Dershowitz became Trump's attack dog.

There’s been lots of speculation on twitter that Dershowitz has been auditioning to be trump’s counsel for when the shit hits the fan by doing all these mock debates and interviews on tv, and predictably, that it is working. Trump’s current legal strategies seem to be taking on board the points Dershowitz has been making.
