To think it's unfair on HRH Catherine

It's been on my mind that a spring wedding is one way to make sure all eyes are on you and not Catherine. As depending on the date chosen she'll either be extremely heavily pregnant or possibly postpartum, she's never really rushed to the celeb demands of having your pre-pregnancy body in 4 weeks. If she has HG that lasts till term she really won't enjoy the day, I remember one heavily pregnant Mum when I got married going home in the end to rest she was struggling that much.

It'll be a dilemma for William as he'll want to celebrate the day, as will Catherine. If she's heavily pregnant or post partum he got really overly drink, I think I'm right in thinking Catherine BF so she can't drink and needs somewhere private to feed. (Plus possibly an outfit that allows for ease of feeding)

I'm wondering if there's already an announcement due for once their married, that Harry & Meghan are expecting, thus the 4/5 month turn around if not quicker, going by my interpretations of Spring. It seems rather rushed.

I understand given Meghan's age it's now or never, I just feel it's a bit harsh on Catherine, as in any scenario she'll not overly get to celebrate the day. She's always been close to Harry, so I assume she'd want to take part and have a time similar to her wedding, partying till the small hours.

A summer wedding would give Catherine & William the luxury of not worrying if baby will arrive imminently, or that Catherine will be postpartum, knackered and really not feel like a part of the day.

I know it's Harry & Meghan's big day, but as I've said he's always been close to his brother and SIL. I honestly thought any announcement would be with the third pregnancy in mind.

I should think Kate is delighted that she'll have a bit of peace.

I am amused by the amount of bullshit people are reading into this.

They are a very physically attractive couple who will no doubt have a very stellar wedding for which we will all get a day off for. Can't see any issues with that personally.

RunningOutOfCharge · 28/11/2017 11:45

Good god op!!!

Pregnancy is a part of everyday life.... people don't put lives on hold because a relative is having a baby!!

Ropsleybunny · 28/11/2017 11:48

Jeez, haven't posters got something more interesting to talk about.

Butteredparsn1ps · 28/11/2017 11:50

Bless you OP

I've a feeling the Duchess will get over the sleight...

HotelEuphoria · 28/11/2017 11:51

My heart bleeds for Catherine, nice as she seems, I don't sweat about what an awful, hard life she is having.

Birdshitbridgegotme · 28/11/2017 11:53

Way to make someone's wedding about someone else!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 28/11/2017 11:56

Whether she's pregnant or breastfeeding or whatever at the wedding, I am sure she will be fine. If it is a strain for her, she has a lifetime of sitting on her arse to relax into afterwards, and it's only one day off.

BertrandRussell · 28/11/2017 11:56

"God...just realised Wills will be off on the stag leaving Catherine at home dealing with two small children!"

That's outrageous. She should put her foot down and insist can't go unless he organizes some child care.......

wednesdayswench · 28/11/2017 11:57

I'm pretty sure the wedding date will be planned taking into consideration Kate's due date (and probably with her input as well)

Not sure what the need is to pit Kate & Megan against each other, how strange. I'm sure Kate is delighted to have a SIL to share some of that awful, unwanted limelight with. And must be so happy for Harry.

KurriKurri · 28/11/2017 11:59

I've heard Meghan had gone totally bridezilla and is insiting on a child free wedding. Kate is saying in that case she won't go, and Wills has said he will just put in an appearance at the reception.

I have insider information - I know all these people intimately, I am a journalist going undercover as a Lady in Waiting. Come to me if you want all the low down and goss.

I was also at school/university/the hairdressers with all the members of the royal family. I know how often Prince Philip has his roots touched up.

Scabbersley · 28/11/2017 11:59

BertrandRussell LOL

Poor Catherine. Her struggles are real.

Anyone know how George and Charlotte are coping?

HildaZelda · 28/11/2017 12:02

OP, are you actually being serious? If so, then you really need to get out more. I wish I had your worries.

LaurieMarlow · 28/11/2017 12:02

Maybe she's delighted that Harry (who she seems to care about) is marrying a woman he loves. Maybe she really likes Meghan and is grateful to have a new mate around. Maybe she's just pleased that the heat will be taken off her.

This desire to pit them against each other is really fucking weird.

Rachel0Greep · 28/11/2017 12:02

IrianOfW · 28/11/2017 12:03

LaurieMarlow · 28/11/2017 12:03

I heard Charlotte is fucking devastated.

ConcreteUnderpants · 28/11/2017 12:03

Scabbersley
No, it's true. I got told on Facebook by my FWB.

Coconutspongexo · 28/11/2017 12:04

It’s cute that the OP thinks Kate actually looks after her children and doesn’t have numerous members of staff there around the clock

LaurieMarlow · 28/11/2017 12:04

I think Kurri Kurri's post is firmly tongue in cheek

MinervaSaidThar · 28/11/2017 12:04

Is that you, Carole?

x2boys · 28/11/2017 12:05

I think Kurri was being sarcastic Scabb?
