To think it's unfair on HRH Catherine

It's been on my mind that a spring wedding is one way to make sure all eyes are on you and not Catherine. As depending on the date chosen she'll either be extremely heavily pregnant or possibly postpartum, she's never really rushed to the celeb demands of having your pre-pregnancy body in 4 weeks. If she has HG that lasts till term she really won't enjoy the day, I remember one heavily pregnant Mum when I got married going home in the end to rest she was struggling that much.

It'll be a dilemma for William as he'll want to celebrate the day, as will Catherine. If she's heavily pregnant or post partum he got really overly drink, I think I'm right in thinking Catherine BF so she can't drink and needs somewhere private to feed. (Plus possibly an outfit that allows for ease of feeding)

I'm wondering if there's already an announcement due for once their married, that Harry & Meghan are expecting, thus the 4/5 month turn around if not quicker, going by my interpretations of Spring. It seems rather rushed.

I understand given Meghan's age it's now or never, I just feel it's a bit harsh on Catherine, as in any scenario she'll not overly get to celebrate the day. She's always been close to Harry, so I assume she'd want to take part and have a time similar to her wedding, partying till the small hours.

A summer wedding would give Catherine & William the luxury of not worrying if baby will arrive imminently, or that Catherine will be postpartum, knackered and really not feel like a part of the day.

I know it's Harry & Meghan's big day, but as I've said he's always been close to his brother and SIL. I honestly thought any announcement would be with the third pregnancy in mind.

sunshine they can't postpone the wedding as the Nation will have to go into 8 months of Mourning and we can't be wearing black when Brexit arrives.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 30/11/2017 13:47

Quarantine on dogs from CAnada is not done if they need certain conditions, so that's not a problem.

As you were, back on Kate Middleton....

SleepingStandingUp · 30/11/2017 13:53

Appears he's too old to do the journey. Sure he'll be happy in Canada away from the spotlight and all those high class girl dogs trying it on with him just for the column inches

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 30/11/2017 13:54

That might well be the case, I just wanted to make the point about the quarantine because I keep reading about it.?

CynicalOleMe · 30/11/2017 14:11

Surely the real question here about the engagement chicken is whether or not they mumsnetted the fuck out of it and they got 27 adult dinners out of it?

Lweji · 30/11/2017 14:16

we can't be wearing black when Brexit arrives.

Yes, it will all be joyous flag waving and street parties.

Lweji · 30/11/2017 14:17

Just leave the dogs to the other thread. They are too sad to be apart as it is. No need to read about it on MN too.

RebeccaBunch · 30/11/2017 14:18

oh great now someone has brought Brexit into this hot mess! Grin

I'll add a Katie Fucking Hopkins and a Nigel No-Mates Farage for good measure.

(and of course I will be wearing black when Brexit arrives).

Lweji · 30/11/2017 14:22

Just thought of Anne's dogs. Surely they deserve something too. Or will they bite all the guests?

ButchyRestingFace · 30/11/2017 14:36

Thems are ravenous wee beasts.

All guests would need a tetanus shot before you dare let them in.

missiondecision · 30/11/2017 14:43

I have no fucks to give about this shit.
If it was as anyone else, so delete Catherine’s name and everyone would saying
Their wedding, their choice.

Only if the US President manages to sneak in. A la Mar-a-Lago surprise appearance.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 30/11/2017 15:19

I hope someone one reminds Megan, that if she's closing her Canadian bank a/c then she needs to waits until any paid out cheques clear otherwise...............
BOOM BOOM
She'll need to cancel the cheques Grin

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 30/11/2017 15:23

Do they read NM, Lweji?

In that case I apologise for making Meghan and Harry sad because of the poor old dog languishing in the Cold Canadian winter.

Dad2TwoMonsters · 30/11/2017 15:30

There seems to be quite a few rude / unkind people on this thread - and a fair few republicans, too :shudder:

I don't understand why someone would post to a thread only to be rude, unkind, or just plain nasty to the OP.

Lweji · 30/11/2017 15:52

Do they read NM, Lweji?

I don't know. Although I'd bet Meghan is more of a MN woman.

Laiste · 30/11/2017 16:32

Because it's AIBU, and that's pretty much the whole point of it the way it tends to go Grin Wink

It's a hobby for many.

VanillaSugar · 30/11/2017 16:40

I'm sure Pippa Middleton is on here because I've seen some very useful PippaTips.
.Doritos are half-price in Tesco if anyone wants to stockpile them.

SleepingStandingUp · 30/11/2017 18:15

Reckon they'll invite the Middleton's? Pippa may have her own bump to sport by then

formerbabe · 30/11/2017 18:17

Reckon they'll invite the Middleton's?

I've been wondering this too. I reckon Pippa will get an invite...Harry went to her wedding didn't he? Not sure about Carole and Mike though...

SleepingStandingUp · 30/11/2017 18:18

I reckon they will - not sure if bro is still dating Donna Air - maybe only spouses like Pippa told Harry re Meghan

KateMiddletonsOtherMum · 30/11/2017 19:29

Oh, one is definitely invited!!

SleepingStandingUp · 30/11/2017 20:12

Is D-Air gonna be a Middleton soon?
