Just had a row with DP because he doesn’t brush his teeth. He says he forgets and can go for days. I think it’s bloody disgusting & his teeth are in a state and there is no excuse at all for poor dental hygiene. Aibu

yuck! has he always been like this - is this a recent thing? if so, then is something bothering him? If not and its a normal thing - have you spoken about it to him? i hope he has baths/showers and has other redeeming qualities!

My husband looks like he has cottage cheese on his teeth most days. Not the top teeth though, since they are missing. He thinks I am a bitch because I won't kiss him.
He isn't depressed either, just disgusting.

Stick a note on bathroom mirror that says brush your teeth you manky bastard.

If it's a recent thing then what else has changed? As a PP asked: has he given up on the rest of his personal hygiene, as well? Has he been ill? Or has he always been lazy and just getting more so?

My ex was like this. Worst thing was when we went out for a 'romantic' meal and he sneezed into his hands and a chunk of black tooth come out. He NEVER brushed his teeth because it hurt ... it only hurt because he'd not brushed his teeth for so long in the fucking first place. It's grim OP and YANBU.

YANBU that's horrid. I hate the furry feeling of unbrushed teeth and have to clean them 3 times a day. My friend s sister can't be bothered to brush her teeth and is losing them at the age of 24. She has awful gum disease and foul breath

Beyond disgusting, he will end up losing his teeth really early in life if he carries on like this.
