Overwhelmed with cuteness, I'll send all my money now. I will live in the field with all the splendid furrinesses.

mustbemad17 · 14/11/2017 13:24

I'll send you a million rupees if you agree to one giraffe...

Giraffes apparently cost $40k to $80k. A bit more than a million rupees.

I didn't say I was sending a million rupees to buy the giraffe 😝 My donation was if a giraffe would appear somewhere 😂

LentilWeavingBsc · 14/11/2017 13:32

Oh, ok then brasty, the squid are in! It's upping the costs a bit to build an aquariam for fifty billion of them, though.

If we're having an aquariam, can we have baby turtles?

laughingpencil · 14/11/2017 13:39

mustbemad17

Yes, yes, yes to a Giraffe! They are a firm favourite in this household.

A few Seahorses/turtles/ducks too OP Grin

brasty · 14/11/2017 13:44

Yeah I think an aquarium is a step too far, but just proving squids can look cute.

mustbemad Oh go on, buy me a giraffe.

I met a dassie on Table Mountain.

What about some Valais blacknose sheep?

Soupforbrains - are you sure???

I adore Capybaras! you can see them in the wild in the south of France. They're so gorgeous.

There are coypu in France, but how would capybara get there???

brasty · 14/11/2017 13:47

Moose Those sheep are gorgeous. Maybe I could get a couple for the garden? DP would like it as no more mowing of the grass.

brasty · 14/11/2017 13:51

I only need £2000 to buy two of those lambs. Plus a bigger garden realistically.

OMG Quokkas are cute but evil fuckers: mentalfloss.com/article/57159/6-things-know-about-super-cute-quokka

brasty · 14/11/2017 13:52

There are lots of coypu in France, similar to capabaya though.

LaurieFairyCake · 14/11/2017 13:53

Those sheep look like stuffed animals GrinShock

mustbemad17 · 14/11/2017 13:59

OH will stretch to one giraffe if he gets to name it...

I also think you should have guard geese 😂😂

mustbemad17 · 14/11/2017 13:59

OP you could lamb share with neighbours & rotate the gardens they inhabit 😃

AcrossthePond55 · 14/11/2017 14:02

Can't send money, but would you be interested in a colony of Prairie Dogs for the Mumsnet Menagerie?

Inthetropics · 14/11/2017 14:03

There are tons pa capibaras where i live. Here they are called capivaras. They are lovely and quite shy and they poop a lot! They walk around the lakes and will sometimes come closer to my dog and cuddle! (My dog ia trained and loves cats, rabbits, etc). Really cute.

LaurieFairyCake · 14/11/2017 14:03

Also you need a Jerboa

mustbemad17 · 14/11/2017 14:05

Can we have some chinchillas??

brasty · 14/11/2017 14:06

Inthetropics That sounds amazing. Guinea pigs poop a lot too. Love that they sometimes cuddle your dog.

I love the praire dogs falling over.

RobberOfCatan · 14/11/2017 14:14

As long as I can come live nearby with a view of them from my window too. I love them! There are similar looking rodents that are small dog sized which I'd love too!

Hoppinggreen · 14/11/2017 14:18

I'm in - but mainly for the otters
I would also love a weasel or 2 but as they are apparently viscious hunters it might not be a good idea

OlennasWimple · 14/11/2017 14:19

Have you been to Whipsnade Zoo? They have loads of capybaras wandering around there (they poo quite a lot....)
