Just wondering what unusual/disgusting food combinations people like? Either day to day, or to cure a hangover. I had a friend who liked sugar sandwiches (bread, butter and sugar )

I'll start with mine, which is Mega Noodles from Farm Foods (I'm that specific) mixed in with baked beans and mayo. Go...

Marmite on Crumpets (crumpets+butter+marmite yum)

A rowie (NE Scottish fatty salty pastry/bread delicacy) with a layer of strawberry jam, sprinkled with grated cheddar and popped under the grill for a minute 😍

I used to be mates with someone who used to suck oxo cubes like sweets and eat onions like apples! It was fucking vile to watch

Hot Buttered toast in to hot black (sweet) tea.
Cold baked beans straight from the can. )same with Marrowfat peas & then drinking the juice.

Had a mate at uni who would pour his tea onto his weetabix and then put that into the microwave. Warm, tea-y weetabix.

Was it on here on another thread or has somebody IRL told me about it? The mother and daughter who sat on the sofa with a chopped onion with a blob of mayo on the side, and shared it like it was chip and dip.....

Oooh I love a tuna mayo and salt & vinegar crisp butty. Mmmmmm.

I sometimes eat the cubes of Hartley's jelly
And nibble bits of a stock cube
I am realising more and more how disgusting my eating habits are

I like an onion sandwich (white bread and butter, thinly sliced raw onion - divine!)

I hadn't thought of it as being disgusting until you mentioned the onion and mayonnaise dip . . . I am officially weird

My granddad used to make me sugar sandwiches. Brown sugar of course, it's healthier.

My sister used to make milkshakes with peanut butter and golden syrup in. She'd also fry up a pepperami with cheese and hula hoops.

I used to eat a banana mashed up with sugar, a slice of bread and butter mushed up, all covered in milk. I've not had it in years but I used to love it.

I drink hot dog brine from the tin.

DB used to eat naice ham and lemon curd - makes me wince just thinking about it!

Aaw that’s given me some nostalgia 😍 my great Nan used to make me sugar sandwiches! With Real butter, I.e. not flora etc

Bleurrgh - this is a truly revolting thread.
We used to have sugar sandwiches- horrible.

But my granny used to give us bowls of cubed white bread covered with warm milk and sprinkled with Demerara sugar before bed when we stayed with her. Now that was delicious.

Except for peanut butter and golden syrup milkshake- that sounds interesting ☺️

Husky I have marmite and Peanut butter, do you use smooth or crunchy? I love them both so the 2 together must be good?!

I LOVE putting vinegar in cheese and onion crisps, salt & vinegar ones just won’t do.
Also love nibbling stock cubes although it’s been a few years since I’ve done that
